Default "Half-lucid" dream

This for sure wasn't a lucid dream, since I have no experience whatsoever with them, but what could it have been then?

I woke up early (about 8 hours after having had half a beer, and I tend to react pretty sensitively to alcohol). Very soon after falling back asleep, I had the sense of consciously choosing that I wanted to fly now, and felt incredibly happy that it worked, because it seemed "out of that reality" (I'm not sure I was aware I was dreaming or maybe half-aware or just knew that people don't fly).

It felt more like "exploring what I want to experience" than "exploring flying", because the joy mostly came from noticing how with every every move I made, my body was feeling the "right" sensations (those that seemed approriate for moving upward/turning fast etc). I felt incredibly powerful, knowing that there was something very special about doing things like walking up the air on invisible steps, or flying.

Then I ended up in a house that was flooded (flying suddenly turned into diving, found out later that it was only the 3rd floor and that most of the house apparently belonged to my parents). The water was reaching till an inch below a lots of money that I (!) apparently had forgotten there (and forgotten about it). I packed the money and went on my way back, meeting my Dad on the staird.

I am curious especially about the first part, because I had a very similar "dream" some months ago. It was also right after falling asleep (or not, actually I think then I had consciously done some trance techniques then, so it probably wasn't sleep at all (which I definitely had not done today, unless you count half a beer 8 hours before that). But it felt great to suddenly be in this state of "I can do anything and feel it in my body".

I don't have a sense that it is something I could consciously "produce", especially this time it just happened, and maybe it was just a dream pointing towards me stepping into my power. I'd just like to hear any insights, especially from people who know all the differences between lucid dreaming, trance, real sleep.

Thanks!
