At times I feel like my intuition is just giving me riddles that it wants me to solve. Here’s an example of what I mean. When I was 29 weeks pregnant with my third child I was meditating one night and tried to send out the question “When will this baby be born.” My daughter was born on time, but my first son was 5 weeks early, so it was really up in the air as to when my 3rd child would be born. I got back a large “8” with a small “7” behind it. I assumed these numbers were weeks – so this child would be born in just short of 8 weeks at close to 37 weeks pregnant. That seemed reasonable. Then I tried to get a date. I got “6.” I took this to mean January 6th. I was due January 20th, so that too was also reasonable. The next day when I looked at a calendar, 8 weeks from then was something like December 29th, so that was about a week away from January 6th. Hum…. What are you trying to tell me intuition What eventually happened was my son was born on January 5th, at 6:08pm, and I was 37 weeks, 6 days pregnant (almost 38weeks). So this is how I now interpret those numbers. The big 8, followed by the 7, meant almost 38 weeks pregnant, and the 6, was the time, (or I could also say it was 6 hours away from January 6th) Am I expecting too much from my intuition to give me exact dates and times? Or do I just need to better learn how to read my intuition? Does this happen to anyone else??? I’m asking this at this particular moment because my job is undergoing some big changes. There is going to be a re-org announcement soon and I fear lay-offs, or transfers. As I was meditating last week I asked how much longer I would work here and I got “11.” Again, I’m taking to that to be 11 days. A totally reasonable answer in the current business environment. But I suppose it could be 11 months, years, or… .who knows what! Several months ago, before all of these big changes were announced at work (we had been told our business was doing great) I was meditating and asked how much longer I would be here since I've actually been trying to leave for some time. I got 3 years. I took that to be 3 MORE years, but I just passed my 3 year anniversary, so I’m thinking it could also be that I will only be here 3 years total. I liked Erin’s most recent blog article where she asked for her guides to give her a sign 3 times. Maybe I’ll try it, but then it feels like I’m nagging my intuition when I ask the same question over and over again, and it’s easier for my logical mind to get the best of me then. Any thoughts? |

Times and dates are tricky. I don't rely on them too much. I use them as a guideline, but you make one altered decision and it throws off your dates and times and then you think your intuition was faulty when it wasn't.
