WHY do angels and spirit guides and demons want to interfere in human lives, Erin? What possesses them to want to meddle in our affairs? Is it some sort of Universal Good (or Universal Mischief) kind of motivation, or do these entities have a more personal (so to speak) interest?

Of course, I could understand if my dead abuelita is trying to steer me down a more joyful path, or if poor Aunt Fanny tries to wreak post-mortem revenge on me for that unfortunate pearl necklace incident; their motivation is more clear to me. I'm more interested to hear why an angel, for instance, might throw the number 909 at me, and then watch me try to glean the significance of such a cryptic signal.

Also, what do you suppose is the angel-to-human ratio -- and would a discrepancy in either direction make a difference to our collective growth? Do higher spirits ever "gang up" on a human who could really use a good talking-to?

Sometimes I have the feeling they're just fooling around, like the Blue People who hide your car keys and then giggle as they watch you frantically search. (Depending on how you react, they either get bored and give up and leave your keys in the litterbox, or they reward your good behavior by leaving a $20 bill in your winter jacket pocket.) The Blue People make perfect sense to me.

Nah, just kidding. I've always wondered myself. My spirit guide tells me its because, without him, I'd do even stupider stuff then I usually do.

Not a huge expert on angels, but from what I learned from Doreen and others who appear to have more experience than me, there are a plethora of angels out there. Some are assigned to you from birth. Some bop in and out of your life. Some are available to all people at the same time.

Guides are assigned with the help of your higher self. They are volunteers so cut them some slack and treat them well. Send a fruit basket or some cookies on occasion. They are they because they have a field of expertise you can benefit from (if you listen). But they are not omnipotent or omniscient so take that into account.

As for the crypticness of signals... some people get cryptic stuff and some people get it straight from the source. Depends on how well your "radio" is tuned in.

Sometimes when I am angry or frustrated I yell at my guides ... Of course, I always try to make it up to them ... but sometimes I wish they could make clearer what they want or that I could be more open to receiving whatever is they're sending.

But there really is no tangible way to thank them, is there?

No, no tangible way (like a fruit basket) but they appreciate love, gratitude and being blessed.

I am finding that the more I raise my frequency the more specific the information and the less need for signs and symbols.
