Thank you Erin Pavlina

I was deciding to post a topic to thank you for the past couple of days-- a nudge you could say And today after an interesting email with someone, I realized that I must indeed do this topic. And I must say how thoughtful, kind, and generous you are, Erin-- thank you! You spend your time writing blogs, videos on youtube, and writing on this forum, replying to emails-- helping so many people with spiritual questions absolutely for free. And that says a lot about you.

I know from my own personal experiences from spirit guides and what I read and more importantly how I see others even react with others on here-- that spirit guides are linked with love-- unconditional love is the number one lesson that they teach. And forum members, including Erin, are generous to do such stuff whether through much guidance, listening and caring, or even free, practice readings and such for each other.

And so to prove further of how great this forum is and how helpful everyone is-- including of course Erin and Steve, this is the email that I had received. Mind you I have emailed other psychics and intuitive counselors before and they have no problem replying back and helping me just as much as how Erin devotes her time and effort with people. However, I had emailed someone about a question regarding spirit guides and the reply was: "Check my Homepage for fees and procedures for consults. My time is valuable and I charge for it." I wrote back saying: "Thank you, but I already got answers from Erin Pavlina and it was for free. And my time is just as valuable especially my spirituality. Thank you though." The reply back was: "No it isn't. Nice anti-New Age attitude. Learn some respect!"

To say the least, I was very shocked and I will not reply back and get involved further. But it made me truly appreciate this forum and guidance and kindness everyone has here and especially the time and effort you put into this forum Erin and how much you try to help us without charging us a fee for posting questions or finding us invaluable.

The way that person first replyed gave off a little bit of rudeness - though understandable that they probably needed to be abrupt. But the reply after is disgusting. I've had email corresspondence with a teacher who told me i was disrespectiful because i asked a question about mala beads when the japanese tsunami hit. She told me i was the most disrespectful person in the world for asking such a stupid question and that people in the tsunami were emailing here for counselling ( i dunno how without computers and internet connections?) and she was trying to heal the whole of japan with her guides.

So i can empathise with you here and i appreciate the nicer people all the more for it!

LOL! The defining characteristic of the New Age is paying for $140/hr consultations for information that should be free! Count me out of the New Age!

Yaa! Just what people want to pay for - psychic consultations AFTER the tsunami. It's like I saw on the tonight show with jay leno and his headlines show and he had a poster of a picture someone has taken of a psychics services front door and on the door it said "unforseen circumstances has forced us to shut down for the day" I thought that was hilarious! Here you are supposedly a psychic and you can't "forsee these circumstances and intervene?" Some psychic! This would not be good for business. I wouldn't pay someone who can't forsee things in their own life

HI Minerva, thank you for writing that. You are very sweet and kind. I do give a lot away for free. It's just in my nature to want to share and teach. it's true that professional intuitives needs to charge for their services otherwise they have to go out and get jobs that are not in alignment with the highest good. I get about 200 emails per day from people who want free readings, or want me to find lost items, or want me to comment on a dream, or want me to see if I can find their deceased relative real quick, etc. It pains me that I don't have the capacity to help everyone. So I write the articles and post on the forums because I know it will reach more than one person at a time.

Oh, I should have explained the person in the email is not an intuitive or psychic. Sorry about that.

Other than that, I can so imagine how bogged down you must get and again it is lovely part of your nature to want to share and be so helpful. Thank you for all your writings and what you do

I too wanted to say thank you for the information you share. I am also grateful for the space to grow and learn this forum provides to allow people to explore topics near and dear to their hearts. It is very nice to find people of like minds to share and exchange ideas and concepts.
