Angel communicating with numbers?

For weeks, I have had dreams where a number is repeated over and over. Last night is was 135, the night before was 770, the night before that 14, and on and on. My friend, without me telling her a thing about these dreams, said she felt inspired to give me a book called Angel Numbers by Doreen Virtue.

I was wondering what Erin (or anyone) thought about this, or about Doreen's book. Thank you.

Thanks for the resources. I've been seeing elevens everywhere (especially clocks) for something like a year now. At first, I thought it was was only 9:11, but when I mentioned it to my husband he suggested that it was a form of reticular activation (when you see something because you are tuned into it). When I considered that possibility, I found that I was also seeing other combinations. It always seems to be eleven after something. It never occurred to me that there'd be a book or websites on the subject.

I have to say the book is spot-on. Went back through the various numbers and writing out the messages in order was like writing a paragraph for a book. This has been happening since April 1st, so I'm guessing the message will be complete soon

I'd recommend the book The Complete Book of Numbers: The Power of Number Symbols to Shape Reality by Steven Pither. It points towards coming up with your own interpretations of numbers and combinations of numbers rather than relying on others.

Although I must admit that according to Erin my spirit guides "don't like numbers." Unfortunately for them I enjoy making their eyes roll

I don't understand why a message would be sent in numbers...why isn't a message just sent in a form that the receiver would understand right away?

Because that makes it too easy. My angels/spirit guides/whatever love being cryptic. I get weird symbolisms all the time that I do not understand until the situation presents itself, then it all makes sense. Little imps

interesting. this is a very timely post for me. I've been noticing a lot of 0's and 5's, like 5550, 0505 and 0550 on plate numbers, clocks, messages, everywhere, and I wondered what it meant and from the link it means that life changes are going in perfect order, which is good because I'm moving away to study again, in a course that I actually like, and sometimes felt quite worried about it despite how smoothly things are going.
