Dreams of mean people, paralyzed body, & flying

Hi Everyone,

I was driving to my vacation a few weeks ago and there was this guy on a radio show. I wish I could remember his name, but I can't. He was talking about out-of-body experiences/astral projection, which are things I had never heard of before. Then he started talking about if we dream we are flying and it feels so real, that's because it is real. I thought, OhMyGod, I have dreamed that I was flying five or six times. One of the most vivid dreams I have ever had. I remember trying my best not to wake up because it felt so awesome. So I turned it up. Then he started talking about people dreaming and then they wake up and cannot move their body. It's like it's paralyzed. I have done this, too, about 2 or 3 times. He also said that usually when people dream this that these horrible people are chasing them. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS DREAMING ABOUT!!! I couldn't believe it. I could not wait to get to the motel so I could look this stuff up on the Internet. I have read so many testimonies of having this dream where these horrible beings are chasing them and not being able to get back into their bodies.

I read where Erin said something about these horrible people in a dream he had. I'm going to try to find that thread again so I can post there. But if you read this Erin, can you tell me a little bit more about these horrible people? Or anyone else? I want to try an astral projection/out-of-body experience, but I am scared to death of these mean people. I know I have never been so scared in my life as I was when I dreamed this. I know I was awake, too, and could NOT get my body to move. Can these people ever harm you? I have read where people have said no, but how would anyone ever know whether anyone's been harmed by them?

By the way, what is the difference between an out-of-body experience and an astral projection, if anything?

You cant get hurt from dreams. I once thought i could OBE but it was nothing more than vivid dreams. and maybe an overactive mind! you can even fight vampires with swords an win as erin pointed out hehehe
The mind is a powerfull thing(while you are in control of your imagination)

what you are trying to achieve is called lucid dreaming it suggests no metaphysical containor Its al up their in your mind! but you could always see the exosomatic view(astral projection )
