If you believe in Jesus, do you believe the devil tempted Jesus in the desert and in the garden of Gethsemane? It is documented in the New Testament. Do you know Jesus also mentioned the devil when speaking to Peter and Judas?

hey, I agree religion is evil (I mean bad for you spiritually). no doubt.

but the bible when read without the dogma attached is not a bad idea, I've found many awesome truths within its pages.

Getting back to the original question on this thread ... a few thoughts.
I suspect Hitler still exists in his own self-created hell, where he would have a couple of options. He may begin to feel some sorrow for what he did, in which case, the very slow journey of ascent would begin, which we can't measure by earthly time. In his soul/consciousness, he would need to experience all the pain and suffering of each individual who suffered from his treatment. In addition to that, he would need to perform good acts which help others - either here on earth, or those stuck on the astral plane or in their own self-created hell.
On the other hand, he may feel no sorrow at all and may be consumed with bitterness and hate. He may actually try to project this back onto the world to seek some kind of revenge. Those who are attracted to nazism, who deny the holocaust, etc, may be the willing recipients of this projected hatred.

Of course they do. I always used to feel guilty after giving in to masturbation years ago- and from what I was reading on celibacy.info- this is the manifest hell- aka naraka, on earth. It all stems from losing that original garden of Eden. As of now- I won't say that I have experienced transecdental bliss- however, my guilt and anger are slowly reducing, after striving for purity and chastity.

The concepts of heaven and hell caused me great pain and suffering while growing up in my Roman Catholic family.

In my case it was "not heaven and hell" that caused me the pain and suffering it was the misrepresentations of them....
