How to tune into people for readings

G'day Erin! Or anyone else experienced.

I've taken inspiration from an article or blog you had written long ago, about doing at least 100 readings before you went professional. I sat in guided meditation and i put it to Higher Self and he thought it was an excellent idea after some consideration.

I haven't been having any major problems. Doubt, fear of being wrong or inaccurate are common things i have to push past.

Actually though the thing i wish to work on is connecting with their energy. I don't really have a process, it's sort of just breathing myself into close proximity with their energy. Im not sure how to explain. What im trying to ask though is do you have a process of connecting with clients when you're reading to create a stable connection with their energy, or do you just connect with guides and leave it to them lol!

I have a process that involves my conduit guide connecting me with people's spirit guides, and I read their chakras during my pre-tune. Once I see what's happening in the chakras, it gives me a huge indication of waht they're strugglign with in their lives. So during a reading I run through the chakra info first, then let the guides tell client what they most need to know to help them on their path, then we answer questions with the remaining time. I guide the reading along instead of letting random bits of info come through that may not be helpful to my clients.

For example, I don't usually get info like, "Oh when you were six you fell off your bike." It's more, "Here's wehre youre blocked and here's how to overcome that block so you can take your business to the next level." I do pick up specific info along the way, but only if it pertains to my client's biggest issues. Never just for "amazement" factor.

Hmm excellent! I have what i coined my psychic guide, Lana, who i think will suit this purpose. She specifically sits with me during readings to facilitate what im getting shown. Talks to me, very comforting and supporting.

And good point about the chakras. I believe now i need to get to understand them on a deeper level, that will help me improve i think.

Good thing we got professionals on here to answer my questions lol!

I just happened to stumble upon this post. I am so glad because I am planning on doing my first "phone consult" tonight. I read her through PM and was able to tune into some of the things going on, but I'm very interested once I can connect on a more personal level. I've been trying to figure out how so I can be sure it is worth her time.

I LOVE the fact that you don't say things for amazement factor. I have worked with psychics like that and immediately shut down. The woman that woke me up last year was like that and I ended up getting into a confrontation with her. I am NOT like that. I do NOT get angry with people. It was so strange. It felt like someone else took over my body. I felt like she was abusing her gift. Is that a common reaction? I was so shocked at myself. Even thinking about it right now my heart chakra opens wide. We ended up doing a reiki session on me to calm me down and we actually became friends immediately. She said we've been connected in past lives and there was some bad blood there. I've been told that I come from a long line of psychics in my previous lives and was told I didn't always use it for good. I beleive that is one of my purposes now. To use my God given gifts to heal others. It's the most AMAZING feeling in the world.

I've posted a few things about my experiences. I'm not looking for a "reading" from you but since you seem so willing to share your experiences I would LOVE to hear more about your awakening and how you began your journey. It's a little scary to me still... I'll definitely check out your other posts and blog/website but if you can sense any important messages I might need to hear from my spirit guides I would be so appreciative! They are really amusing me right now... My TV has turned on 3 times in the last 3 days on its own. I chuckle and picture a man trying to amuse a little kid. I feel like they think I'm still young in my development but are seeing a promise in my ability...

Ok, now I feel like I'm "bragging" about this. Please don't take it as that. I am just looking for justification... I can't wait until that need goes away!
