My first lucid dream (hooray!)

Hey. About a half hour ago I had my first lucid dream. It was short lived, though.. as I was kind of freaked out that I was in control of my dream, and the people in my dream were realizing that I was dreaming too. Whoa.. lol
Oh.. then something unfamiliar happened. I was awake and concious and could hear all sorts of voices cutting in and out of my head.. like a radio dial. I woke up fully for a brief moment, and the voices cut out, and then I let myself do it again, asking for the angels help in protecting me (just in case.. like I mentioned, I'm pretty new at this) I couldn't make out what any of the voices were saying so I just woke up.
Anybody explain this for me? That was weird. I'm sure it's happened before, but not for a long time. I don't think it was imagination. I mean, I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I thought I felt my body trying to go astral too. Stupid.. fear barriers. I know I need to stop that, but I didn't panic. I was willing to go as far as I could, but I didn't know how.

The voices are common. My personal opinion is that when you hear the voices all coming to you like that that it's indeed like a psychic radio and you're just not tuning it in. You're picking up on all the frequencies at the same time.
