The one great danger that I believe lies in taking revenge is that, you'll continue the karmic cycle. The reason you were wronged was because of karma and if you take revenge, you will accumulate bad karma again. If that doesn't resonate with your beliefs then you could think that, if you seek revenge, it means you are unhappy or angry at the way you were treated, so you still haven't accepted the sad fact, you still resent what happened. This resentment can manifest in very nasty ways in your day to day life. And having resentment towards another human being means you will be unable to love yourself whole. Andwan, Wanting to seek revenge on someone else is like wanting to hurt yourself. Since we are all connected, that would seem counter-productive. I have learned over time to let things go that do not serve me. Seeking revenge for imagined wrong-doings was one of them.
