It varies depending on how many others are in the queue. The wait right now is a few weeks. I have people book readings for specific dates months in advance, like when they know they will be traveling to Vegas. I just did a reading yesterday for a woman who booked in December of 2006.

Yes you can give a reading as a gift, I actually bought some gift certificates for that purpose but have to figure out how to offer them using the shopping cart. Thanks for reminding me. Only give a reading as a gift to someone who truly wants it though. Some people aren't ready and you don't want to force it.

Did you tell the people who had a negative entity attached to them? What do you think that was?

Yes I told them, and it was like a huge relief for them because they thought they were crazy. Both had felt like exactly that was happening to them. But to hear me say it in the first 2 minutes of speaking with them gave them the confirmation they needed to know they weren't crazy.

In both cases it was a lower vibrational being with conscious intent to do harm to these people. I gave them some advice on how to deal with it and expel it.

Actually it's not that it's so uncommon. More accurate to say it's not likely that people with these entity attachments will manage to find me, AND book a reading. I'd say these two were lucky they got talked into having a reading by their wives. Both of them are doing much better now.

I have a question for Erin: when you see the person's 'true face' when you're doing a psychic reading, do you physically see it with your eyes or in your mind's eye?

You mentioned during a reading with me a couple of months ago that you saw a certain colour in my aura - do you only see the person's aura if they send a photograph or can you see it without?

How did you learn to do this? Does it just happen like seeing someone's aura in person?

Am just curious!

Hi AnnaC,

It's like seeing an overlay over the real photograph. I'd say it's 50/50... seeing it physically and seeing it in my mind's eye. Hard to explain. But I can never look at the photo the same way again after it's morphed. I always then see the true face.

During the period of time when I am opening my chakras I also scan the chakras of the person I'm reading. I don't need the photo for that part at all.

How did I learn? It's something my guides showed me that I could do. It's more like remembering than learning. They just showed me that I already knew how to do it. More like pulling a veil off your head so you can see, instead of installing new eyeballs. The eyeballs are there and functioning, but the veil is just clouding your vision. Remove the veil and you can see.

Having had a recent phone reading with Erin, I discovered I am one of the unlucky few who seem to be bedevilled by a negative entity. Different from the two cases mentioned above though, Erin informed me that the 'negative entity' interferring with me is quite powerful - at least as powerful as my spirit guides. Bit of a problem alright. The blog entry of Erin's certainly gels with my reading experience, in particular the telling of how it is (good or bad).

I'll give a bit of a break down of the reading and its contents in the interests of helping others make a decision - either one way or another

I am in Australia and booked a phone reading over the internet (paypal is your friend). My motivation was to essentially try and gain some spiritual guidance due to an incredible bad run of misfortune in the past year (won't bore you with too much detail, but includes 3 major road accidents, none my fault, including a death, Dad nearly expiring twice due to medical complications, continuous unexpected financial burdens and many more of a minor nature that stand out due to their repetitive occurence). I am not a sceptic in terms of the paranormal or psychic phenomenon however I have never before had a psychic reading and the best description of my beliefs would be agnostic, leaning towards believer however still needing proof.

Erin and I set a time and I emailed a recent photo. On the day of the reading Erin called me to the minute she said she would (thank you!) and we pretty much hooked straight in. She gave me the metaphorical image she was receiving - that of me in a room with a curtain. I move to open the curtain and instead of a door or window that was supposed to be there, there is only a wall. Erin told me she sensed my extreme frustration at having my path blocked. This correlates very strongly with the recent events in my life (despite me having given Erin minimal detail). On the plus side it would not have resonated with me at all 12 months ago as everything was smooth sailing - a positive sign.

She told me that I had been on a particular path, set for me by my spirit guides, and had been progressing as planned. Another entity, as powerful as my own guides and giving Erin a negative sense, had somehow looked into my future on that path and had interferred to prevent me fulfilling some action I was going to undertake in the future to 'help others'. This action was perhaps some combination of who I am or the type of person I am and something I have learned about in a previous existence.

Erin's sense was that my guides were 'scrambling' and that the interference was totally unexpected on their part and they had not yet figured out a means to deal with it. She singled out one guide in particular who was apologising profusely for my circumstances and I was assured that were not of my own doing. Erin also told me I had not 'conciously' attracted this negative entity. My guides' message to me was unfortunately a bit of a let down (from my perspective). Basically, sit tight - they are dealing with the situation (or will be), and there is really nothing I can be doing other than understanding circumtances change and I need to be accepting of that. Erin advised I should also continue to ask the universe, archangels and guides for assistance / protection.

Erin gave me a bit of detail on effective meditation to get in touch with my guides and though I am not the kind of person who is able to sit still for very long and all previous attempts at meditation have failed miserably I fully intend to give it another shot. I believe the doctors call people like me a Type A personality

Erin also told me a few other things about me that are a bit personal however did conform with my view of myself and helped, at least in my mind, legitimise the other things she told me.

I can say that I believe Erin accurately picked up on my recent life events and determined there was a spiritual cause to it however at the end of the reading I felt somewhat powerless to really do anything or gain any direction - almost as though I am in a holding pattern or at a crossroads. In a way it makes me quite angry, particularly at this 'negative entity'. I have used the Law of Attraction to extremely good effect in the past (scarily good infact - but a story for another post), even before I knew what it was. So I am making my own resolution after Erin's reading. Firstly I have nothing but gratitude for my own guides and I have mentally relayed that I appreciate all they have done. However I'll be damned quite frankly if any powerful negative entity is going to dictate my fate. I know broadly where I want to be heading, even if my guides don't. I intend to mobilise the law of attraction to determine my own path and we'll see who comes out on top.

Thanks again Erin for the reading. Just a heads up - I will be sure to book another phone reading in few months time for an update from my guides. I don't like my chances of ever being able to contact them directly !

APJ, thank you for sharing your insights with our forum readers. That was generous of you. I very much wanted to tell you that you could do something about the situation you were in. I am all about personal empowerment. And I agree that your guides need to get it together. But I saw a powerful, conscious, malaligned entity intersecting your "maze" and as much as I wanted to tell you that you could easily and willfully overcome it, I didn't want to give you a false sense of security.

I think you're on the right track though. Your resolve to keep your life going the way you want it to go and not allow this other consciousness to derail it is quite possibly the challenge you overcome that opens up the part of the maze this entity doesn't want you to enter.

By trying to block you, it may actually be creating that spark in you it was hoping to quash.

I was wondering Erin, do you do calls using Skype? Or do you prefer using landlines only? I ask you this because it might be possible to record the reading if you do it on Skype. I haven't tried it myself yet, but here's a link:

Two programs I found interesting were one called PowerGramo which is free as long as it's only 2 people, and another one called PrettyMay which is free but only records up to 30 minutes maximum (perfect for 20-30 minute readings ^^).

Skyping might save you some money on international calls as well.

Of course there's always the risk that someone's computer might crash during a reading, but I think it's worth the potential benefits.

I have called people on their Skype line but I don't have Skype. I don't mind calling people. I have Vonage and they give me excellent rates to all countries. But I'm happy to have someone record the call if they want and happy to have them use Skype too
