Nice post. Thanks Erin ^_^ Something I could do with; mostly I've been using written statements. For those interested, Celestine Chua (of The Personal Excellence Blog) has an article on creating your own vision boards with plenty more examples (here) and even one on creating your own inspirational room. Hope you all like |

I love my vision board, it's actually kinda therapeutic making one! & they are definitely valuable, for years I'd wanted to make one but never bothered until a month ago. It's exciting waking up in the morning & looking at your vision board; it reminds me of my intentions because usually I'd just forget. & of course it's so easy to change it around if you feel like your goals have changed or that don't resonate with you anymore. Thanks so much Erin for writing this! Even though I already knew about vision boards I think more people should give it a go & maybe this will give them the push to make one. Umm I know I already mentioned it on your facebook but I was replying to someone else & not everyone has you on facebook so I'll mention it here... If anyone was looking for a "digital" version of a vision board Pinterest / Home is a really cool place to make them. You make "boards" & you "pin" pictures to them by uploading or pinning from a website. At the moment there is a waiting list so you have to wait to be invited but it usually only takes a week. If you don't want to wait a week I don't mind sending invites out to people so just PM me if you're interested. |

I've never done a vision board before, and it seems like something that could be a fun project to get me where I want to be regarding my goals. It will at the least provide direction and it will be a visual reminder of what it is I want out of life. My family might think I'm crazy doing what looks like a school project, but so be it. I'll see if it helps me take more action towards my goals.

Anyone ever purchased the Mind Movies package? It's kind of like a vision board on speed, where you create a 2 or 3 minute slide show movie featuring vision board type pics related to your goals set to music. I didn't purchase the package (which apparently makes the process very simple), but instead made my own using Windows Movie Maker (simple to me once I figured it out). Which reminds me...I desperately need to update the movies I made, and start watching them again. This time for more than just a week or two. |

I didn't think I had ever made a vision board, either. Then I looked around my cube at work and realized every "postable" space was my vision board. I had Pavlina quotes (of course). Images of dancing shiva, a pregnant mermaid, the love of my life, the characters in the novel I am writing. Yup, looks like a vision board.

Hi Erin! And everyone else. I was wondering if a vision board would be helpful in reaching my goals and desires as a psychic and healer. I have many pictures of of great psychics and healers and also nice peaceful pictures and really inspirational things too. Also mantras and affirmations. You even make a feature as one of the psychics because you're successful So I know i have to add my action and i have no worries taking the steps, but does the effect of the vision board still apply? Thanks! |

I love making vision boards. I usually make an annual one every April, and set the intentions for the year. One year (2 years ago) I was making one with my daughter, and her vision board was of one thing, puppies/dogs. I told her not to get upset if she didn't get a dog (I know, but I didn't see a way) and I was also not wanting to try again after a bad dog experience. Well, within the year, I met my future husband, and very shortly after we started dating, his son's dog had pups, and my daughter picked one out and named him. Well, my future husband (at the time) decided to get that dog, and we ended up married, so she did get her dog within the year. It was humbling for me, to realize that even though i don't see *how* it will happen, it isn't up to me to figure that out. My daughter now knows she is a powerful manifester, we refer to this story often. |
