Dreams

I've always had dreams where I dream of someone completely out of the blue. When I wake up, I have an overwhelming urge/feeling that I must contact that person immediately to make sure everything is ok. Inevitably every time I contact the person, something terrible has happened.

Does anyone have any suggestions of books or websites to help develop this? I've always had crazy dreams anyway, but would like to study this further if I can.

Seriously though, I have this too. especially with people Im very connected to. the way I see it, their energy is so strong, like their soul is shouting and if you are open to it you can hear it.
I have always had this, always remember my dreams and often they are important messages.
I believe its genetic because my dad is exactly the same. If something happened to me on the other side of the world, he'd call an tell me about a perfectly metaphoric dream about my situation without knowing anything (things I wouldnt want him to know....)
I too have always had "prophetic" dreams. Sometimes even about the news (such as 9/11).
But in the last years I feel the fact that Im a raw foodist has helped that channel be clearer.
Also I read a lot a books and attended workshops by Laura Day- an intuitive (you can google her).
So I believe that has helped my intuition in general.
Not sure that has to do with the dreams though.
Having this prophetic dream ability is definitely also an inherited genetic ability
