hi erin , very interesting. I discovered claircognaisance was my strongest channel a couple of years ago and i was disappointed because i wanted one of the 'sexy' clairs! But now I think its great for the reasons you say, you can just download what you need. It does take a while to work out the difference between spirit and your own imagination but that's just practise.

Erin, i think i have Claire cognizance ability. Just last week i interpreted two dreams. I asked to one and waiting for second friend's response. First is perfectly interpreted. Well its very strange that both are very different from past. In past i used to see a dream which was on either side. I mean, if it's bad then whole dream will be bad and if it's good then whole will be good. It always helped me to identify the good and bad news. Or to be aware for future. But now these two dreams had bad and good part. I am realizing something new. After watching first scenes i became upset or lost my mood, then when i watched my lovely friends it was fine there. |

Sometimes when you feel an aversion to something I think you will even start to question yourself, a big voice has popped up for me that loudly asked me "what does your intuition tell you", even then I found some way to rationalize it and not get the message

I remember that I read in your first article about the different modalities, and whenever I ran across claircognizant, I read it and went, "Ahh, so THAT's what it's called that I have..." I'd definitely say that making split-second decisions about things help hone in the ability. |

I've recently taken some time out of Steve's forums and have come to the conclusion over the last month or so that I've been an idiot to ignore the spiritual stuff in the way I have been. I've been focussing very hard recently on trying to find information that I know is true- rather than listening to the rants and opinions of some spotty teenager somewhere in cyberspace. This article has helped explain some of my recent certainty. Quite a few of my recent discoveries have allowed me to self confirm things as truth- even though I can't yet validate them. 6 months ago I'd have scoffed at myself or anyone else for making such an unscientific claim. Yesterday I received a strong signal to visit Erin's blog and what a co-incidence this topic was. I'd never heard of claircognizance before. Needless to say, i have some catching up to do on some other of Erins articles. |

I've read this article 6 or 7 times over the last few months and it's become apparent to me that, after long periods of not getting anywhere and not seeing improvement.....that this is the right thing to develop right now. So im excited. Let the knowing begin!!!!!! lol |

I have some other types of examples, but I don't know if I got them through claircognizance or intuition - I thought it was intuition. Erin, how do you know if what you have is claircognizance or intuition? One positive example I had was that I was living in NYC back in November and planning a difficult move to Sweden. Essentially, I chose a more-or-less random town in Sweden to go to. While planning my move, I Googled for a youth hostel in that town and I found this one youth hostel that, once I found it, I was "glued" to it. Somehow I felt I had to go to that one. Even though I had an offer (later withdrawn) to stay with an acquaintance, I felt like declining the offer, somehow I just felt like I would be missing out on something important if I didn't go to that hostel. Well, it turns out that that hostel was a God-send. It was exactly as I had thought, even better. The people there helped me in ways no one else would have done. Another example I can think of happened in a relationship. I was traveling on a bus to church, kind of wallowing in the pain of that relationship, and in an instant I realized as I sat on the bus, the guy I was in love with was living with some girl. This was partially based on a visit I had made to his apartment, when he was not home. I dropped something in the mail slot to his apartment, and as it fell on the floor, I felt his apartment was empty - he wasn't living there. Likewise, one morning, many months before he had moved to that girl, on ICQ I was chatting with the same guy. He told me he was sick to his stomach, so he'd not gone to work. In that same instant I knew he had spent the night at that other girl's apartment - but I believed I knew that because of how well I knew him (he would never have been up so early in the morning if he didn't have to work) and how well I knew her (that the food he had at her place would make him sick and she would kick him out of her apartment sick at 7 a.m. instead of let him spend the day there resting - all of which is exactly what happened). I thought anyone could figure that out if they were perceptive enough. I thought these things were some kind of over-sensitivity to small nuances in other people's feelings and behavior and heightened power of perception I had. Later, I just chalked this stuff up to intuition. How do you know what it is? P.S. The girl was going to Australia for a year, btw, and, around the same time period of these other realizations, I had also had a dream of her going to Australia and leaving the guy I loved back in Finland, and then, in the dream, she comes back from Australia with a boyfriend - and that's exactly what happened Last edited by Bliss Sage; 04-13-2011 at 08:34 PM. |

Claircognizance IS intuition. Intuition is information we receive outside of logic, probability and reason. There are several ways to receive intuition, clairvoyance, audience, sentience and cognizance. So that was your intuition coming to you via claircognizance. |

Oh, wow, then everyone has one of these "clairs"...because everyone has intuition, right? I think sometimes, for me, it is combined with plain old observation or perception. Like the observation about "this guy" that he would never be awake at 7-8 a.m. and that "that girl" is a selfish, hard or uncaring type who would readily kick her "lover" out of her apartment a 7 a.m. while he was sick, because she had to leave for work. And this knowledge of each of them, combined with the information from him that he is sick and IM-ing with me at 7-8 a.m. from his own apartment tells me that he spent the night at her place and got sick from her food and she kicked him out because she had to leave. This case, for example, seems more like deduction. |
