awwwww how cute. Congrats guys! So Erin, do you remember the name of the book you were reading? I can only think of one book who had a character where the last name was Savage.. I think it was called Dark Gold. But I think the characters first name is Aidan. Adrienne |

Happy Ninth Anniversary, Erin and Steve. Perhaps for your tenth anniversary, you could renew your vows, and you can pick a few people to play medieval guards/ushers in the ceremony. We could even do an arch of swords in full-plate armor. |

I'd love that. We had some friends at the time willing to dress in full armor. It was gonna be cool. Alas, we just didn't have the money to afford but a small wedding, however our best man did bring Steve a crown to wear and gave me a scepter from the Excalibur.

I woke to some flowers this morning, my favorites, carnations. Next, after we drop off the kids at school we're going to breakfast, then to the day spa for some rest and relaxation (massages, jacuzzi, etc.). After that maybe a movie or maybe we'll go home and snuggle for hours until the kids need to come home from school. |

I love you too, Erin! Happy anniversary, my sweet! What she didn't mention was that the reason I picked "Savage" for my BBS handle was that I had a poster on the wall above my PC for Savage Empire, an old Origin game based on the Ultima IV game engine. When I first logged onto the BBS, I was trying to pick a handle and looked up at the poster and thought, "Yeah, Savage will do." Erin and I became close friends first and didn't even go on our first formal date together until a month after we'd met. |

I happened to come across Steve's blog while I was searching for ideas about blogs and I got absorbed in your private story. Lucky people you are! Wish you all the best and hope your love will grow forever. this is touching in a global sense! greetings from Germany Alaun |

First of all contratulations. And on a more practical note: you dont have to hire somebody or even rent the outfit for a medival wedding - just find some medival roleplayers in your area: they would properly find it interesting and exciting and they most definitly have all the equitment needed to dress up. That said, based on the story I can understand why Steve dont offer more tips and tricks to attract a mate - his way can clearly not be repeated. |

My question is at what point in your relationship did you hear about his shoplifting-previous-arrest-and-incredible-escape-from-serious-jail-time history? I bet that was an interesting conversation And congrats on the anniversary. |

| I told her about that via the BBS chat system before we ever met in person. I'm not much for secrets or privacy, and Erin's nature is such that she makes it easy for people to open up about anything.
