Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has been to Silva Meditation Seminar. I was curious esp about the ESP session. They claim that you would have ESP powers, healing abilites etc activated at the end of the seminar. About Silva UltraMind - Largest Silva Mind Training Site, Get Free Audios, eBooks, Seminar Info and Learn Methods of Mind Control They are coming to my place next month and I would like to attend. Any suggestions/thoughts on this is. I really appreciate your response. Thanks |

I don't have a staggeringly huge amount of Silva experience, but since nobody else seems to be replying, I'll pontificate! I took the (then) "Silva Mind Control" Basic Lecture Series course over a couple of weekends back in 1981 when I was in high school. Now there are actually two independent courses: that course I took is now "The Silva Method" and there's a somewhat-newer course called "Silva Ultramind" which is the one that you mentioned. The two courses are actually a bit at odds with each other, which you can read for yourself periodically at the Silva Method forums. Proponents of the first system focus on how theirs is the original system, and Ultramind proponents focus on how theirs is the most recent system completed before the founder José Silva died. I haven't taken the Ultramind course myself, but I've purchased and tried their audio program from Nightingale-Conant, and (like the first system) it's a good introduction to meditation and beginning to use your mind to access non-physical senses. I'd recommend taking either course if you get the chance. An advantage of the Silva Method seminar (not Ultramind AFAIK) is that you can re-take it as many times as you like, with just a nominal fee for seating. Which is pretty cool of them. (Unfortunately I live in Japan, so the number of seminars within reach of this graduate is basically zero...) Here are some links that might help you read up on both flavors of Silva: The Silva Method home Silva Method forum The Silva paperback I read way back when (Amazon) The Silva Ultramind home (You already found this one) Silva Ultramind Yahoo group The Silva Ultramind book (Amazon) I hope that helps! Pres PS: Actually it was from a link in a Silva newsletter a few months back that I first found my way to Steve's blog, and then here! |

I attended the original Silva Method seminar in January and it definitely helped me a lot in many ways, i.e., passing hard exams, being focused on my goals, being more relaxed. The ESP Ultramind is developed by another company and it's only a section of Silva Method. I would strongly recommend anyone to attend the original Silva Method rather than the ESP Silva Ultramind. |
