Very interesting experience so far. I just don't think I could ever do this myself, at least not at this point. It's not so much the spirits, but more the black widows that would scare me the most. And that virus you talked about in the post. I'd rather go to a cleaner haunted hotel. At least you had a small army of people with you...

yeah that freaked me out too. I was careful not to lean against walls or touch the walls. I was loathe to even use my hands to steady myself as we walked over window sills. I saw one big ass spider sitting in a web and that's it. We saw cute little baby bats hanging out too. I found them adorable. didn't see any scorpions or snakes or rats. But yeah, it was pretty disgusting down there. I was glad I had my dust mask.

We were bumping into all kinds of things in the dark. I was watching some of the video footage at Maury's house. we had little red flashlights, which were just enough to see an obstacle at the feet even if you couldn't make out what it was. When I filmed for the Criss Angel show we were there during the day and there was lots of light and less activity. you really gotta do these investigations when the activity normally occurs. Hotel guests... yeah, well not everyone is sensitive to paranormal energy. Dana could have had 20 ghosts standing next to him touching him and not feel a thing. Most of the hotel guests there probably don't sense anything. But like I said, sometimes guests leave in the middle of the night because they are touched or their beds are shaking or they hear crying or wailing. The ghosts in the hotel proper are more submissive than the baddie in Spooky Hollow. Also, I mentioned to Maury that it seems liek the baddie in spooky hollow doesn't go into the hotel area. It seemed to me that he wasn't allowed to interact with the guests in life and didn't feel comfortable doing so now. She confirmed that back in the old days that hotel was frequented by the rich who ate dinner wearing white gloves and the miners in spooky hollow were expressly forbidden from interating with them. Think Titanic... and the the dudes in the lower decks versus upper decks. Also, I opened up to the energy. You gotta really open up to have contact like I had. Most people in a hotel aren't sitting there trying to channel something. |

Why are ghosts and spirits and entities active during dark? I'd say they are scary enough in the light, no need to add the dark to it? That is the one thing that has me on the edge of being a believer and skeptic. If they are really real (ghost, spirits etc) why do they just come out in the dark? |

They don't just come out in the dark actually. Taht's a myth. These particular ones demonstrate more activity between 11pm and 4am. So you go when it's active, day or night. I channeled this dude during the daytime last time I was there. But not nearly as strong as at night, that's for sure. Secondly, when the lights are on, people's vibrations are stronger and they aren't as afraid, so it will keep the ghostly energy at bay more easily than when a person is in the dark and feeling a little fearful. And third, light is pretty good at dispelling some dark energy. it's all about frequency. |
