I love most of these ideas, but if I were feeling down and someone were to sing "Eye of the Tiger" at me, or splash cold water into my face, I don't think I'd laugh or be very inspired to hang out with them again. An interruption of a state can be done in a less assault-like manner -- just by asking one excellent question, or by saying or doing something that confuses them. And I love that you are a committed vibration-raiser, Erin! |

Those advices are for people who are sad or depressed. For these, the advices are great. However may i ask further, how do you raise the vibration of someone who has a tendency to be nasty (sugar coated, smiley, sneaky nastiness)?

| So true! My friend gave me a tip to use the "Purple Elephant Technique." He said if he got into a deep, vehement discussion that was going around in circles he'd use it. He'd nonchalantly bring a comment in about purple elephants. He said it usually left them speechless.

What is your favorite movie? What was the best holiday you've ever been on? What makes you happy? And what you could do is ask them for help. And thank them, and tell them how much they've helped you. Feeling helpful (and useful) normally helps people get out of their own mind and in a better state of mind.

I am not sure if that raises their vibration actually... but it makes me joyful and happy!

I giggle like a school girl and say "Thank you." That usually makes them laugh too.
