I don't remember any dreams I listened to Erin's audio about lucid dreams, very interesting. I feel as though I don't dream, because I only remember maybe 1 or 2 dreams a year, and that is just guessing. Erin, why don't I remember my dreams, am I disconnected or trying to suppress something. |
You probably don't remember your dreams because you aren't interested in their content. Seriously, though, if you decide you want to start remembering them, it's every easy. Tell yourself before you go to bed that you'll remember your dreams and that will help. You can also set an alarm to go off in the middle of the night, hopefully while you are dreaming, because when you are interrupted from a dream it's easier to remember. |
Thanks Erin, I did remember something last night, I'll have to keep practicing. |
I've noticed that it really is a matter of 'using-it-or-losing-it'. A few months back I was really starting to make progress in remembering a number of dreams a day. But started to fall behind when I didn't record them as much, first thing in the morning, thinking there were more important things to be done when waking. Therefore, my recall started to decline. So, back to recording dreams seriously now, regardless of what has to be done in the morning. |

Lucid dreaming - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia try keeping a pen and paper by your bed even if you don't turn on the light write something immediately upon waking up even just a few words - i have found if i do this in the middle of the night then wake up the words are enough to spark my memory about the dream- it really works - like others said it just takes some practice and concentration. |
