Hey ya'll, I was asked to write a guest feature for Lightworker magazine and it came out today. It's online. Check it out, it's about cutting the cords of toxic friendships.

and I also liked this quote in the magazine =

"I think of dolphins, they are joy on earth "

Yeah, I didn't know this mag existed either, but I like it!

And you did a great job on that article. It would have been easy to let an article written on that topic slip into repeating what people have heard before, but you found a way to approach it from a unique perspective, and I like how you broke it up Question-by-question.

Love the article, Erin. I like how you mention that if a friend meets even one of the criteria, they could well be toxic.

I've disconnected from a 'toxic' friend two years ago, and I felt uneasy about it for some time. She often played the victim role with me, which brought my vibration down, but I enjoyed the activities we did together while hanging out.

At the end of the day, I didn't look forward to her calls, and I decided to disconnect from her. Lately, we've spoken again very briefly, and I wonder if this is now an opportunity to reconnect but on a different level than before.

I reconnected with someone who was previously toxic and the relationship is a lot better now. she matured greatly! In fact, she credits me "dumping her" with finally making positive changes in her life. So it can totally happen.

What would you recommend if that person is a close family member?

I'm not Erin obviously but with family members I release them to the universe and do not schedule face time with them.

Guard your vibration around soul sucking family members. Don't open yourself too wide or their attacks can hurt you. Love them, forgive them, have compassion for them. Understand that we are all on different paths.
