Hey Erin! I know it's been about a year since you posted a Health Goal Update entry, but I wanted to share a few thoughts. I was going to post this here, but seems you've closed that thread. I hope this thread isn't unwelcomed; but I had a few insights that I thought were worth mentioning, and I'm rather surprised no one has brought up one point in particular. (Although, I love some of Angela's remarks in that thread. That gal is awesome!) And I also noticed that you haven't published a health update since June 2009. First of all, (and I suspect you've already gathered this) I'm quite sure God/The Creator/Source doesn't seek for you to be overweight, since that's extra work on your heart, bones, etc. Just because you're pulling on a push door does not mean the door isn't meant to be opened. It is meant to be opened, at the perfect time. What I've been wondering lately is how 2009 was for you emotionally. From what I read from Steve that year, he was doing a lot of intensive relationship stuff, and I think it's important to acknowledge how that affected you. (Not to mention 4 months after this article you and Steve announced you were separating. Don't tell me you didn't see that coming at all.) This is the part where I give you a big hug. *big hug* I know you and Steve parted amicably, but divorce doesn't sound like an enjoyable experience. So, I've just been thinking about your situation holistically lately, about how you are one being with many parts, parts that inevitably affect one another. I recall Steve writing about how once one area of your life improves, it's easier to work on other areas. So the question begs: Is it possible your guides wanted/want you to work on the relationship aspect of your life first, and then health? Perhaps if the door won't open, you should consider coming in through the bathroom window! In any case, I hope you're doing well Erin. I really enjoy your blog and the vibration you put out. You're like a warm light of hope on the 'net, and I'm honored to feel the warmth of some of your rays. Last edited by Andreas; 07-05-2010 at 05:14 PM. |

I'm going to go ahead and take that advice as if it were aimed at me. Thank you, I am going to try to work on my relationship first, but my problem in my head always is that my relationship will improve when I lose weight, I will be more confident, more sexy etc. I will try the other way around, It's just hard b/c none of my clothes are fitting so I dont even want to go out anywhere |
