I have had psychic abilities my whole life but I have always kept it to myself. Any time I have even tried to broach the subject with family or friends, I received odd looks, as if I was some kind of nut case. My family is extremely conservative and they dont believe in such things. I was just wondering what kind of experiences other people have had in "coming out" to family, friends, co-workers, etc. about their special abilities. I would love to be able to talk more openly with others about the things I experience, rather than keeping everything locked away inside me. I guess I am just afraid that if I talk about it, they will strap me into a strait-jacket, lock me into a padded cell and throw away the key

Wow thanks Erin, that article was a real eye-opener. I think I will just continue to keep my abilities to myself for a while longer and not risk opening a whole can of worms.
