Default Predictive Dream Messages From Passed on Family...Any Insight?

Since I was five years old, I been able to talk to my dead relatives in my dreams. My grandma who I was very close to was battling cancer, and I dreamed she came to say goodbye - I woke up crying and screaming for her, only to get the phone call from my mother ten minutes later that she was gone. That was the only and last time I have ever dreamed of her.

Years later my other grandmother passed away. I dreamt constantly that she was calling me on the telephone, leaving me voice messages, telling me to pick up. I had a dream with her of my Dad, his brother, and father all falling down a cliff - and within a short time my grandfather & uncle passed away and my father had a major heart attack which he miraculously survived.

Another time, I dreamt of a passed on aunt calling me in a dream, asking me for someone named Charlie. I shrugged the dream off, thinking I don't know anyone named Charlie. Two weeks later my grandfather died, his name Charlie.

And most recently, just two weeks ago I dreamt of my grandfather (Charlie) with his sister and brother in law. I can't remember the details of the dream because my kids like to wake me up very abruptly every morning, lol. But his sister was in the hospital a few days later with a broken hip and his brother in law passed away less than two weeks later.

These are just some of the dreams I've had, there have been many others, these are just the ones that were the most significant. I am pretty certain they aren't coincidences because there have been so many of them. But they are often inconsistent - I don't always interact with the dead relative directly and they usually don't come out and tell me a message directly, there are usually many symbols which I can't always interpret. Sometimes I get lucky and when I dream about them it is happy or nobody seems to get sick and die immediately afterward, lol.

Can anyone give me some insight on these dreams? Are my dead relatives really trying to contact me or am I just having some other type of dream? Can you recommend some books/courses/resources that can explain this and help me not feel so crazy?

I used to dream quite a lot, very vividly and used to be able to write down all the details. Now as a mom of three it is hard for me to get sleep at all, let alone wake up on my own and be able to remember the dream. But I've always been curious about my dreams, and so if anyone has any insight or suggestions I'd love to hear it!

Thanks for reading

I can't believe nobody has responded yet!

Your dreams, I believe, are definitely telling you very important stuff. Yes, please pay attention to them. Not all people dream like you do. I believe your loved ones, especially the grandma who was calling you on the phone in your dream, asking you to pick up, are totally contacting you and sending you messages. Listen to your grandma, hehehehe! Pick up the phone, which actually is just to listen to your dreams and deliver the messages.

My dreams have always been extremely vivid and have told me a lot of important info that has come to pass.

I also have 2 kids who wake me and hubby up early by jumping on our bed. I love it. So I hear you on not being able to properly remember dreams.

But as difficult as it is, to train yourself to remember key parts of it even while the kids are getting at you will help you to recall the whole dream. For instance, I got woken up and knew I had a winner of a dream to remember. The kids were goofing off and I tried to remember the key person and a place. I repeated it in my head as the kid chaos was around me.

I also got to my notebook and pen that I keep in the drawer next to me (just for dreams!) I quickly wrote what I had in my head. It was scribble but at least it's on paper. It is tough but if you really want to remember these important dreams you're having, you need to train yourself to do it even with the kids around.

And more importantly, in the middle of the night, I will sometimes get up and get my notebook and go into the bathroom and write down a dream if it's a doozy. I've realized that the importance of my dreams many times outweigh the need for sleep because it's even harder to remember the ones you had in the middle of the night.

The thing with these dreams is that the ones you can remember even without really trying ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT, because they are so powerful that they stick in your mind.

You've written some amazing dreams that you remembered! And they obviously were messages that have come to pass. Please pay attention to these. You are remembering more than you think and with more practice in remembering and writing them down, you will gain far more insight into your life and that of those around you. You will be able to help others more.

From one who dreams in a very similar way, I am glad to read about your dreams!
