The book 'Vegan Family Favorites: Tasty and Satisfying Recipes Even Your Kids Will Love' got my interest awhile ago, seeing it on the website. But, I don't buy things through the net, at least not yet. (Although I can rhyme at the moment, it seems :P)

Indeed. Looking back on my last message I probably should have included that many of the books I'm interested in have to be ordered in one way or another. : Thank you for the info anyway. Sooner or later I will buy that book!

I love this book! I bought it back in November and I'm tried many of the recipes. Whenever I am going to a party I pull out that cookbook and make something for myself and my friends to share, they usually have no idea that the recipe is vegan! Love that!!!

So is there a way I can book a book? Thing is, I'm still in school and so have no way to pay. And I don't want my parents to buy it coz I know they won't use it unless I force it down their throats (and the whole I'll pay you back thing doesn't work in my family). But I start college in september and I'll have to get a job (and a credit card then), so till then if someone could hold a copy for me, that would be grand.

I love this book as well. I got it months ago from amazon. It has alot of stamples that have been converted to vegan so i could serve food to omnis without them thinking it is "weird vegan crap" and that i am trying to "poison them with my animal loving tree hugging ways."

My extended non-vegan family loves the recipes too. My favorites, the ones I make a lot, are Simple Tomato Risotto, Chili con Veggie, Sweet Potato Curry, Veggies and Dumplings, and the cheese potato casserole (which I serve at parties as often as I can).

Why not just selfpublish them on lulu.com? They publish on demand, so there is no reason to have a single cent tied up in the books. All you have to do is to setup the account and everytime somebody buy a book you get some money. Given that you already have written the book there is no additional cost to you, so to quote one of Steves podcasts - it is basically free money (and you keep the copyright too).

Alternatively you could just upload the book to scribd.com if you dont want anything to do with it anymore - then you would recieve a dollar everytime somebody bought a printed edition, but everyone could read it without paying.

While the choice is 100% yours, I dont think there is any reason to let a good and evidently popular book out of print, since this prevent anybody from benefitting from it and you from making some money.

I love cheese potato casserole. What you mean take to parties and SHARE???

I love the sweet potato curry too. Sometimes i even get a little crazy and make it with half sweet potatoes and half red potatoes.

You could even use that same coconut curry sauce over veggies. But the sweet potatoes just lap it up and soak in all that yummy goodness.
