I'm not sure if you're addressing this to me specifically but since I get asked this a lot I figured I'd respond.

I have heard all the speculation about a big transformation coming that year and something to do with the Mayan calendar. I've also had "the dreams" that supposedly come with this coming event.

I don't know enough about the prediction to comment on whether I think something big is going to happen or not. But I do think we, as a people, are headed for a big transformational event related to consciousness. Just not sure when.

The thing I've never figure is how a mass conscious change can happen... I understand how some people can do it. But not milions...

What kind of dreams have you had in relation to 2012.

Mainly catastrophic disasters like meteors, lava, tidal waves, a total shift of the planet's alignment or something that causes the same type of reaction. Most people die, but some are taken aboard vessels and rescued.

But I've also seen something else. A phasing into a different dimension. It's really hard to explain, but it was not pleasant. I want to say there was a reptilian race involved and they kept humans in this strange state of being phased between the 3rd and 4th dimensions and were feeding off our energy.

The vessels people boarded were of the "light" and the reptilian thing was definitely of the "dark" and it is unclear who will prevail.

I don't know if this is true or not but it would make a hell of a story.

I have read a few forecasts for 2012 and Dick Sutphen Sutphen / Valley of the Sun mentioned we will be undergoing a tremendous shift until 2012. Apparently, sea level will be rising and conditions will worsen in major cities, New York and London

I've briefly seen some of the speculation about 2012 on television. I have to admit...it seems kinda scary. I know that it's scary to me because I'm not yet fully comfortable with the idea of dying or the idea of the world changing in a way that I don't quite understand. (I am working on this...)

But, what are we supposed to do with this information, other than knowing that it's a possibility? Are some suggesting some form of preparation? If so, what kind?

with all do respect folks, I have been hearing about magic years since 1988 - that was supposed to be one, 1999, 2000, 2001 (when all the planets aligned for the first time in 50,000 years thus the movie 2001) and they always seem to be about a conveniently dramatic time period ahead in the future which makes good TV - too far away to immediately worry about,but not so far as to worry you.

I am not saying that massive changes don't come from catastrophic events, but they are eons in between and are usually only regional- and the problem is that people always like to think that their age, their time is the special one.

I think changes are more subtle and less dramatic, the internet, for example, I think is the biggest revolution since the printing press and the impact hasn't even begun to be felt.

I don't know about 2012, but I wonder how the earth's
magnetic field effects our brains, maybe something in space
will affect this field thus effecting us.

As far as disasters as we judge them, it is obvious the earth
is alive with all the intelligent processes going on everyday other than human,
that it may just be an earthly cycle, like a re-alignment, or balancing, just
like the human body getting to homeostasis.

I've read some of David Ike, why don't these reptiles get there energy
from nature, these reptiles are not too evolved imo. Not sure what to believe
about this, no proof.

Yes, the bottom line is to live the best you can, do the best you can. Preparing for the "end" seems pointless to me. I also don't believe in predicted dates. If it's going to happen, it will happen. I don't want to spend my days preparing for it unless I was absolutely certain it was going to happen. Then I might invest in some lava-proof galoshes.

I had a dream the other night that it was raining flaming asteroids - about the size of baseballs and even bigger. Everyone just sort of took it for granted, dodged them and kept walking. But I noticed that they were started to get bigger. It was harder to twist my body out of their way. Then I got scared and woke myself up. Too bad I didn't have a calendar handy in the dream!

Interesting about David Icke. Let me see if I want to open this can of worms.

I knew nothing of David Icke until one day when Steve and I were in a little bookstore next to Real Food Daily (a lovely vegan restaurant) waiting for it to open. We were browsing and this one book literally fell off the shelf and hit me. Heavy book! I think the title was Tales from the Time Loop.

I bought it. I read most of it, I think I only missed the last chapter, and possibly a couple chapters in the middle. Very political book. Most of the time I was reading the book I thought the guy was a nutter. But he had some very interesting experiences. I think, ultimately, he's misinterpreting some of the experiences he had and I think he doesn't quite have the gist of things.

However, the dream I had about the reptiles and the phasing thing happened long before I ever read David's book. So yeah, there was a point there where I was going, "Shoot, if this guy is a nutter than maybe I am too."

I do tease Steve about being blond and blue eyed though. That's a lot of fun.

All I have to say about David Icke is that he's probably on to something but he's misinterpreting his experiences. Then again, he might be right. But there is no proof for his claims so for now the jury is still out on all of his theories. I'd love to see proof for his claims though. That would shake things up.

What I trace back to what I call my "spiritual awakening", when I knew there was more to life than just working, getting married, having kids, etc. is a dream I had. This was before I had ever done hallucinogenic drugs (which I count as another spiritual awakening!). The dream was that the world as I knew it was ending. I remember vividly being at the ocean, and rocks were falling from the cliffs above. The rocks were so hot that when they hit the ocean, the ocean actually boiled and turned to steam. I knew I needed to find my boyfriend. (STRONG spiritual connection I still feel even though we haven't been together or spoken for many years) I was wandering, looking for him - it was SO important that we be together! I never found him, but somehow ended up in a spaceship. These were individual ships, one person per ship, and they were being used to escape the earth's devastation. I was floating through space in my ship, and I was very chilly. I saw a wooden wardrobe my father had made, floating beside me in space. I was somehow able to leave the ship, open the wardrobe, and get a warm sweater on. (which was the *best* most comfortable, warmest sweater!) In my dream, I then fell asleep.

I woke up from that dream *looking* for something. I had never been exposed to "new age" thinking - the most alternative thing I had done was go to Grateful Dead shows. Oh, wait - now that I think about it, I had taken psilocybin mushrooms at this point in my life. I'm a good Southern girl, so what I knew to do when I was seeking was - go to church! Believe it or not, I didn't find what I was looking for there. I found a lot of judgement. I know now there were some alternative churches, very liberal open-minded ones, but those weren't the ones I came across. What I remember finding was a book recommended to me by a friend - "Behaving as if the God in All Life Mattered" by Machaell Small Wright. I don't know why the dream woke up that desire in me - to find "something", but it did. I still remember it very vividly.

am going to be the first here to predict that the chanes mentioned in 2012 will be so subtle that they will hardly be noticed. It;s my belief that it will be more of a symbolic shift than anything else. Somewhat like the enterance to a new era in hunam kind. Whether or not this is good or bad, I have no idea. I think we are blowing it out of proportion (which society has a tendency to do , especially among intuitives). Humans or notorious for looking for reasons to predict catastophic events such as terror attacks or the end of the world. In no way am i saying that nothing will happen, quite the contrary. I just can't see it happening on the levels mentioned here.

I do think the United States is in big trouble. Not just from a political standpoint, but from a moral stand point. Without going Cindy Sheehan on all of you, I do think this country is about to fall from its petistal. This is not a political end of times rant, I just think its time, in the natural order of things, for the US to step aside that someone else will take their rightful place as the world leader. Evoltution is a crazy thing, especially when it comes to soceity. This might be one of the shifts that take place.

I have done quite a bit of soul searching on this topic, and have dome some light work with my guides. From what has been shared with me, we will continue to evolve, continue to grow, and the only catastrophic events on the herizon are man made.

I've read all types of stuff on this... Some call it a "Shift", or a "Shift of Ages", one channeled book says this is when our experiment in a time loop ends (The experiment is to deal with negativity and learn how to change negativity into positive... looks like we failed this one!)

Others call it a return to Christ Consciousness.

Some think it'll be this big day the earth's rotation stops and the sun blinks out while the whole planet shifts dimensional frequency...

If the earth is shifting its vibrational frequency, this would explain the climate change... Physics teaches us that the higher the vibration levels of a molecule the higher its temperature...

Many channeled predictions appear to be happening: Dissatisfaction with the electoral process, voter fraud through electronic means, disconnected elected officials, "wonder" drugs which do more harm than good, growing melting of the glaciers and rising sea levels.

A lot of these will be good in the long run; some won't be good, especially if the elected officials keep acting the way that they do currently.

I personally don't subscribe to the "Sudden shift" with disastrous results, it's a gradual thing. Slowly, many of us will begin to access our inner-being with more ease, a growing number of people will want to learn about “New Age” stuff… and as the religions begin to lose members, they’ll fight to retain their hold over people. Same with our governments and elected officials. Corporations will lead the fight to stay in power, although most people will shun them and their greed as their consciousness shifts into higher gear.

Will our physical bodies get lighter in mass? Who knows, I’ve had some freaky periods where I feel the wrong size for the things around me, such as the car seat suddenly much smaller. I’m told this is my physical body’s molecules shifting slightly out of phase with my reality. It’s that or the junk food I ate…

I believe it’s a spiritual thing where some will get access to greater awareness at all times and others will have to stay the way that they are – they’re too negative and cut-off to be allowed to play with instant creation through thought. It’s like giving a two year old a loaded gun.

I've read more than one source that is saying the same things... but placed the alien presence on a group of renegade aliens who violated the "hands off" policy established for our world.

It's basically a spiritual revolution that is not run by statesmen, religious leaders, by mob or any army.
It will be run by everyday people, by artists, writers, musicians, teachers, moms, dads,... fill in the blank: _____________________

We're well on our way to this shift. More and more people are interested trends like "Manifesting" and thirsting for more knowledge about this..

dor and OldTex spurred a response from me. This is a very interesting thread. I myself don't care for doomsday theories but it's clear these days that the West and western thinking are declining. Looking at a broad spectrum, every major conflict these days shows efforts by current champions of western society to maintain dominance.

I like to focus more on FEAR trends. I can't think of anything that does not rely on a principle of fear to be successful. I traveled to Vegas this week and was appalled at the airport where I had to take apart my luggage, take off my shoes, go through a 45 minute process, and then have my baggage randomly singled out for a search again. Threat levels always rise to offset and distract political downturns. Go back for the past 6 years and look at the headlines during the weeks of anytime the US went to a orange "threat level".

Everything is fear based here in the West, "can your drinking water kill you?!?! tune in at 6 or 11 to find out *end music." Even our various constructs of religion "You're going to hell if you do that." Health "you're going to get cancer if you eat or drink that," funny how the list of cancer-causers changes every few years or so, just enough to keep us afraid of ingesting anything besides water (which is now bottled and marketed and profited from too.)

I think our spiritually enlightened base has, or will very soon reach a critical mass where no force on this earth can stop it from becoming dominant. Not the clergy, not the governments, not even bad movies starring Nicolas Cage.

I see more and more rejections of religious dogma everyday, and increasing sensitivities movements. I have a separate theory on religion, and it's necessity as a place holder or stop-gap resolution over the past 2 millenia while we progress to where we all are now. I think Jesus intended and foresaw that outcome, more on that some other time though.

Fear only has power over you if you grant it, regardless of the construct in which it arrives.

Uh oh..that's very scary to me, because I trust Erin as a psychic. I usually don't believe in apocalyptic predictions, or worry about them too much. But I have a feeling Erin's usually right.

How is it possible to not be scared of this year..it's so close in the future. I'm scared of such a large population dying catastrophically. I'm still at a point in my life where I'm afraid of death..but I know I need to spiritually evolve. But 5 more years doesn't seem like enough time here! =(

Erin, did you have any predictions about earth events in the past? I thought I remember you blogging about what you felt would happen on 9/11..or maybe I'm completely off? I couldn't find the article again. Maybe I'm remembering that you felt something was wrong when Bush was elected, and that's all you said.
