I also very much enjoyed Erin's acceleration story. Funny, how we can experience periods in our lives when we're driven, and convinced we're making progress, and yet, be totally 'out-of-sync' with ourselves and on the wrong track. Perhaps we get too consumed with things outside us and forget or never learn to listen inside? What is it that enables some of us to suddenly 'see the light' and others to miss it temporarily or even completely? |

This reminds me of the one dream I had which I compare to a lucid dream because it was the only one where I absolutely knew I was in an alternate world sort of. I was very confused at the time & I was about to lose faith in any kind of un-realistic phenomena (paranormal stuff, dream stuff, stuff about God..) & I am not sure what it was that appeared to me but it showed me very vivid 'dream clips' of things & kept telling me I knew more than I let myself know & I was more powerful than I thought. Etc... Shortly thereafter I really had a big change & started experiencing more psychic phenomena & I found my life purpose. Thank god! Right before this dream though I was very confused because I had spent 3 years in college working towards a bachelors in entomology & started a research project that was gearing me towards a Ph.D. graduate program at the same school. I was being pushed by many well-meaning people who had no clue it just wasn't for me. I do believe our guides try to get our attention sometimes in big ways. My sister is struggling right now with her life purpose too but it's difficult with the pressure & societal expectations to be a certain way sometimes. I am glad I felt so out of place doing that research project that I finally opened myself up to the possibilities of what my life purpose really should be... & not just the job that I thought I should do. |

Hi Simmiah, I had a similar experience to what you describe. My inner voice simply grew louder and was able to capture my attention away from those things that turned out to be distracting me. If you haven't already read The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield (and other books by him such as the Tenth Insight and Secret of Shambhala), I would highly recommend them. You can tap into information about them here: Books by James Redfield and Salle Merrill Redfield I suggest these books because of the fantastic story. The protagonist gradually becomes aware of an energy field around himself and how different personalities of people either contribute to or try to steal part of his energy. Even well-meaning people may steal or drain our energy. When we tap into our source of motivation, the resulting energy encourages us to naturally distance ourselves from people and situations that are not building us up. Let me know what you think of the story. |
