Simple question: are people who see spirits naturally generally really happy people?

By the way if Erin can read this, I'm absolutely loving your site, your blogs, your forum! I'm gradually becoming obsessed - but I'll try and contain myself .

Anyways so yes my question, are mediums and anyone who naturally see spirits generally much happier than those of us that can't? My reasoning is that in order to connect to the spirit world, the spirits have to lower their vibration and we have to in turn raise ours. And the way to raise our vibration is to do things that uplift us and make us happier. So surely that would mean all mediums are really, really happy people?? Or does it not work like that? But then again taking the opposite logic, not all happy people can see spirits. I don't really see how someone with such a high vibration can't see spirits or have noticeable psychic abilities (assuming they believe in the stuff)

I don't think mediums or psychics are necessarily happier than other people.

There's a difference between having a consistently raised vibration (i.e. being happy and feeling good) and temporarily raising your vibration for psychic work.

Temporarily raising your vibration for psychic work often involves a breathing/meditation exercise. Your mind has to be still and yes you will need to leave some of your troubles behind if they are swirling around in your mind and distracting you.

Also, you can be in contact with low vibrational beings too, and your vibration won't be high when you are in contact with them. it's a big old scale. You get what you give out.

I wouldn't dream of trying to connect with the other side unless I could get myself to a calm high vibrational state.
