I tweeted this and didn't want my forum peeps left out. YouTube video of myself playing some music I composed post-separation. Work in progress. Watch it here: YouTube - Erin Pavlina Playing Piano |

I kept thinking you were going to pull a Rick Wakeman, stand up and start wailing away on the piano as you kept one hand on the electronic keyboard. Maybe next video? That's great and inspiring that you are expressing yourself creatively -- I love it! |

I'm sure that during the time in my life when I shut down my paranormal abilities I was still playing and composing music

I actually recorded it on there too. Maybe I should post that version as well. I've got another song I recorded in the same session but I made a few mistakes with it so felt like I should re-record. We'll see.

Well, you've played piano for us, shot a gun for us, and talked about being an incident commander. I think the only thing left for you to do to top all of that is to either jump out of an airplane or fire yourself out of a cannon and land in a big pool of noodles. What say you? |

I'm going back to the gun range to shoot an assault rifle, but I won't be jumping out of an airplane anytime soon. However, come February or so... I think we'll see Steve falling out of an airplane Also looking into Krav Maga classes and I'll be joining the Improv group here in town. Gotta keep building those courage muscles. |

Definitely go for the improv group!!! I just started checking one local group here in Ottawa, and it pushes me beyond my comfort zone! Krav Maga... Never heard of it, but just googled it. I'm fascinated by it. I learn so much from everything you're up to Erin, thanks for sharing this! |

| I'm finding it funny you mention being shot out of a cannon because my daughter came home from school just a couple days ago with a drawing of a cannon, the kind you see in the circus that people get shot out of. I'm like, "Honey, why did you draw this?" She didn't know. Just got inspired. I hope that's not a premonition. I don't think my hair will withstand that kind of catapultiness.

On a serious note, that is pretty weird. That also begs the question...is the preminition for you or me, and what could the cannon represent?

Maybe it represents Erin's current progress...like being shot out of a cannon and charging ahead at great speed. It sure looks like it from reading all this! So, Erin, never worry about your hair. You're already out of the cannon and flying truly marvelously! |

| Very beautiful, reminds me of Enya somehow (she does some nice piano pieces though those are much slower) Keep up the good work Erin, and can't wait to see what the rest of the melody will sound like |

Really liked it Erin, looking forward to the completed version. I think with just a bit more variety - something unexpected added in about the middle - it'd be orgasmic |

I can also relate to playing while the rest of the family was into other things. My brothers were into sports; I wasn't, but I was always into playing. I was scorned, teased, etc., but I got the last laugh in the end. I learned as I got older that chics really dig musicians. Did any of your kids inherit your ear/gift?? I have two kids, one did, and one didn't. Playing music with my son is one of the most awesome things in my life BTW. It's just different than playing with other people. I hope that you can experience that one day. You'll know what I mean if it happens. Anyway, it sounds good. Keep at it. I also totally agree with you about the universality of music as a language.

Funny, I had a reading a few weeks go and was told that I played the piano in a previous lifetime and performed for people. I've always been drawn to the piano but would get frustrated that I don't know how to play it when I sat down at it. Maybe it's because my spirit remembers already knowing how to play and now I'm a total noob starting all over. You look very happy at the end when you smile at the camera.
