Sleep Paralysis

Thank you Erin , you saved me today.
For years I have been having Sleep paralysis, could not move my body, feeling someone sitting on me or on my bed, hearing strange voices. I thought I was going crazy!!! I went to neurologist for treatment, he prescribed some heavy medications to help me sleep. It helped as long as I was taking it.
I did not know what it was, my brain activities or maybe I was visited by a bad spirit who tried to suffocate me. I was lookig for answers, and today, I stumbled upon your site. You explain so well the Sleep Paralysis, and now I have my answer! Now I will not be as afraid, and even try to experiment with it. Thank you Erin for saving me today, you have no idea what a RELIEF I feel.

No problem. I'm surprised the neurologist didn't tell you about sleep paralysis. Seems like something a neuro dude should know.

You get the very same things that happen to me. Recently I've been experimenting with this, trying to have an OBE. I very often hear voices in the house that aren't there, sometimes my wife and kids even. Not just like "dream" voices, but what seems like real voices. Lately, I'll hear footsteps around the bed (very creepy at first), and the other day someone even breathed on my ear. (ok maybe it was the cat, but I don't think so...)

At any rate, It's quite a fun thing to experiment with... He has some tips on getting out of paralysis in case this is what you want too...

Thanks - Just thought I'd use your thread to post my own update here...

Today I had quite an amazing experience. I was right between sleep and awake this morning when I had a visit from a spirit guide. I had a really quick conversation with him about something that has been on my mind for the past few months. It was amazing, but the really interesting thing is that this is the first time a guide has come directly to me without me first going and seeking to talk to them. It was like he was trying to get an urgent message through. And to sum it up, the message was "Follow your heart!"

Jay, I had that happen one time too! It was really clear and obvious. I dont remember all that happened but I do remember one clear thing he said "You are not trying hard enough!!" LOL
