Question for Erin about HS

In a time of crisis, can we render our concious mind to our higher self, then recall the memory from an out of body perspective?

4 years ago, I had to rush my German Shepherd Dog (and best friend) to an emergency room which was where he would be put to sleep. He was laying in the back of my van on a blanket while I was driving.

One thing Max loved was riding in the van's passenger seat like a human. So with the last bit of his energy, he got up and sat one last time in the passenger seat.

Every time I recall this happening; I recall it as though I was sitting in the back of the van with him, then watching him walk up to the front of the van and climbing into the chair.

BUT I WAS DRIVING LIKE A MAD MAN. (sorry I break into tears every time I recall this)

Why do I see this event from the back of the Van when I was driving? BTW it's a Chevy Astro Cargo Van.

Okay this is going to sound weird, even to me, but if I hadn't experienced it for myself I wouldn't believe it either. In times of crisis, yes, you can cast your conscious mind to another place (that's mental projection though not astral which is why your bodyw as still driving the car properly). You can merge your mind with another and see through their eyes, and you can be just as much "them" as they are. Sharing consciousness. I don't really know the mechanism that causes this.

When it happened to me, it was innocuous but I was experimenting. More on that in a blog entry. it's too cool to share just in one thread.

But suffice it to say, what you're describing makes perfect sense to me, though it is rare.
