Thank goodness you and Kyle weren't hurt, and that Steve and Emily weren't on the ride any more! Reminds me of 9/10/2001. I was waiting for a plane from Disneyland, and kept having the scene from Airplane! with the plane crashing into the control tower run thru my head. Next morning, I knew why! |

This is indeed thought provoking. I have an inverted perspective as well, that is, your mind gave so much energy to the image (or thought) that it became a reality, although a bit different. These days I'm generally confused about such incidents. I see some images and when those things happen I feel my mind manifested those thoughts... |

I used to wonder if I was having a premonition or if I was causing something to happen with my thoughts or intentions. but now I know the difference. There's a different feeling when it's knowledge coming TO me rather than intention coming FROM me.

I think there are spirits who could be shouting at anyone who can hear them when a disaster is about to strike. The difference is that my radio is tuned in and set to "go on all by itself" in case of emergency. Still I can't predict major world disasters. I'll have to futz around with my radio and see if I can get the "disaster" channel. |

In collecting dreams from the public for a dream column I used to write, I met a patient aid who worked in a nursing home. She confided she doesn't look forward to any dreams she recalls precisely because history has shown her they have mostly been negative premonitions for murders or deaths that have taken place afterward. This kind of information frightens her. According to her, the details haven't been specific enough for her to have gone out and prevented the events. She doesn't like the concept of mediumship and doesn't talk about it because her work peers are mostly skeptics. In one case, she dreamed of two young children playing in an attic and becoming accidentally locked in old suitcases. They both suffocated. The headline of that story was published in a national newspaper a week later. When she saw the story, she just shook her head . She's a person who would prefer not to remember any of her dreams. Funny, people who would like to recall dreams for theri own reasons often have a hard time. Murphy's Law? |
