| How to meet your higher self
We have two aspects of self, the higher self and the lower self. Higher self is our consciousness whereas the lower self is our beliefs that have been formed due to childhood hurts and therefore an emotional charge is trapped there along with these beliefs. Now this emotional charge due to law of attraction brings more such hurts into our lives. In this situation, whenever we are able to witness that there is a part in us that has got hurt, the one that witnesses is our higher self. That part in you that is experiencing what is going on within you, the emotional turmoil, the thoughts that itself is your higher self..your consciousness. Erin's article already answers your original question. You say you're confused, and the journaling didn't work for you, but for us to really help you, you need to give a bit more info on what you did exactly, and what you expect to happen. It is kind of frustrating to sit on the other side of the internet reading very short questions and thinking about you as somebody who wants us to wave a magic wand and make it all happen for you somehow. My short (and in my opinion perfectly valid and correct) answer to your original question is: look inside yourself. Does that help you much? |

Something that might help is to use this guided meditation: The Meditation Podcast | Episodes 1-11 | Seven - Your Sacred Space - Apr 07 It is a guided meditation about your sacred space, where you can find the answer to your questions. It does take time and practice, and will work only if you can really quiet the mind and not think about what you expect to hear or "should" hear. If it doesn´t work that is ok as well. Just enjoy the peace and try again the next day, or the next etc. There is no quick fix for this. If you want the quick fix, write down all the pros and cons and see which list is longer.. that is your rational answer. |
