In reading up about corporations, I've learned that they are legally treated as fictional people. I've also heard of fictional people being created by groups of people interested in the paranormal, who then take on more and more characteristics of a "real" person and sort of come into being. (I wish I could remember the specifics about this, so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please tell me!) So my question to Erin is this: could a corporation have an actual spirit? If so, would you, or any medium, be able to communicate with it directly or indirectly? Since we often perceive corporations as "evil", would it be likely that an evil or at best "ethically indifferent" and powerful spirit could actually be the one pulling the strings and running the show? (I know this probably starts to sound like a theme for a heavy metal concept album.) |

No I don't think corporations are assigned spirit guides. However, a corporation can certainly have a certain energy around it, which a psychic could probably pick up on. But it's going to include the energies of the people most in charge of directing its course. |

What you suggest about possible energy surrounding a corporation intrigues me Erin. If you had an inside line, you might suspect instability or under-handedness of one director or conflict among executives would dramatically influence the state of the company energy and longevity. External (client) perception energy also influences the fate of the company. I simply didn't think of this in terms of energy fields before. For instance, if you had done a reading of WorldCom or Enron before the big scandals, do you think you could have predicted trouble? If you did readings on company executives, how could you sense the difference between personal and professional readings? |

I've done readings for people at their place of business with the express desire for me to tell them what was going to happen in their business. I read the person asking the question though. I can get psychic impressions from the physical location, but that generally doesn't affect their business (unless they built it on a mafia burial ground). |

Hi Erin. When you take a reading of a place, I can understand how you might connect with spirits or Forces that have had been linked to that place in the past or still linger in between dimensions. Yet, when you read a place, is it possible to receive vibrations that predict the future of that place that aren't connected with people? I also wonder what is it like to read spirits of trees or plants or objects that were once alive, but are no longer? |

Liara, I'm not sure. That hasn't happened to me at this point in time. Would be interesting though. I'm experimenting with the time stream. I figure if I can remember the past, why can't I remember the future too? I get glimpses, sure, but it would be great to be able to tune in and remember the future as easily as I remember the past. |

Hi Erin, You may not have yet consciously learned to read places or objects about the future separate from human spirits. I agree that could be really neat. Think of what the chimney might tell you about its builder or a tree might tell you about a bug. It motivates us all to have things to work toward. You could help with unresolved crimes if places or weapons could speak about victims and perpetrators. In your "premonition in the park" blog, you foresaw a rollercoaster disaster before it was to happen. That premonition enabled you to act in ways that seem to have prevented the accident and harm coming to yourself. What's interesting is you didn't try to see that event. Nonetheless, you seem to have invited information or some spirit thought you should know about it. Do you think you attract premonitions? The idea of playing with time continuum sounds like a useful experiment. Why not explore time travel through the perception of objects as well? |
