Default Need help locating an item

I recently got married and remember gathering all my items from our hotel room. One of those items being a box that contained my wedding jewelry (a necklace and earrings). I remember placing the box in my bag and leaving, but when I finally unpacked the bag a few days later the box of jewelry was nowhere to be found. I called the hotel and they have no trace of it. Please help me find my wedding jewelry! Thank you.

In her article Psychics Are Like Doctors, Erin says:

Quote:
My particular specialty is helping people get through the maze of life when they are stuck. If you don’t like the direction you’re headed or you want to get a glimpse of where each path in your maze leads, you want to call me. Don’t call me if you want to know where you left your keys. They’re probably with mine.
So I doubt very much you will get the response that you currently wish for.

However, all is not lost. Sit quiet for a bit, and go back to the day you packed that bag. Remember visually what you did, "see" yourself handling that box of jewelry. Did you put it inside the bag? I'm going to assume you did. Now, what did you do afterwards? Did you leave the bag alone in a public place unwatched for some time, so somebody might have gone through it and taken the box? Or do you have children who might have found it, and possibly marveled at the jewelry, now too ashamed and afraid to admit?

When did you close the bag? Could the box have fallen out somewhere on the way?

Often, in a state of near panic, we forget to go about things rationally, and we spin in circles, getting nowhere. Stop your spinning. Relax. Remember.

For better understanding: Does this wedding jewelry have special meaning to you apart from being, well, your wedding jewelry?
