I joined the forums a while ago, but this is the first time I've really had something to say.

My brother died by suicide last week, and I'm just now home. I'm being rocked with grief at the moment, and just happened to log into Twitter to update my status and saw you had written this. He truly was looking for Love, and feeling overwhelmed so this is incredibly comforting for me to know at the moment. Thank you so much.

Yeah, I have a tendency to sit and read these testimonies for hours. But I still think that unless you're "graveyard Dead" your Near Death Experience is totally different from the real Cannoli. I think an NDE is like when Cesar brings a strange dog into his kennel and all the other dogs sniff it's butt to see who it is.

I'm thinking when it's the real thing, It's more like Dog Town. You probably have a spirit guide and someone from Corperate there to walk you through the red tape. But that's all just speculation. Your guess is as good as mine. I think that falls into the "You can't know until it's your time" category.

Just as I think Spirit guides are limited as to what they can tell you about the after life; I think the same applies to those that get thrown back.

I think you're confusing this with the movie "The 5 people you meet when you die". You probably watched that and filed it under E for Erin.

I've mentioned some of these things as part of other blog posts, but never answered this question directly. I get asked this question a lot so I figured I'd give it it's own entry.

Plus I had to answer something fast, was super busy, and didn't have time for a nice long post.

Maybe this question is more 'bout the workings of reincarnation than who meets us on the other side but here goes:

I'm wondering if a person dies and opts to reincarnate into another life time, would that 'person' be able to meet you how many years later on the other side as the family member or friend you knew during your life time?

So according to Erin you can either be earthbound, go to hell, die forever(as she indicated in another blog post) or go into the white light for your "life review", to reconcile with loved ones, your guides, and to have a stay in your personal heaven, or whatever until you choose to reincarnate.


I find all four options BORING. I would think our CREATOR would be more flavorful than that!

I am sorry for your loss.
You probably saw your brother in a way no one else did.
and while you saw his pain, you realized over many years, it was his pain. And try as you might in one way of you, or another, he could not receive it into his being. I feel for your love for him.
I feel his fear and pain of not embracing the love that was always there for him, through you, through others.

This life time, yesterday, tomorrow, in the absence of fear , there is only love. It is so very difficult for a fearful person to "see". I write from experience. Mine. As humans we so badly want love, respect, recognition, inner and outer. I could write for hours, creating scenario afer scenario, perfection perforated.perfection embraced. But in the end, for the one who pulls the trigger, or ties the knot, or jumps, or swallows looking for peace, its the end of struggle of not knowing.
You could have done nothing more.
He could have done nothing more.
We all have expectations, based in survival I suppose.
We can take this, but not that. we will go this far but not that far.
We evolve or we stagnate, cling, in fear. it is tough, for all. we draw own boundaries. There is no else to blame in the end of the evolution. We , ourselves alone, have made our choices. Dreaned our deams, Set the rules.

I think in reincarntion, we get to see, enter, and are free to make new choices, see things differently. And we attract similar experiences till "we get it".
I have nearly lost a daughter, I have been on the ledge myself.

These are my current thoughts.
You will notice, in all accounts. Biblical and otherwise.
Our thoughts control us, or we overcome them.
New thought seems to say ...we create our destiny vis our thoughts which produce energy and attract experiences to us.

Our brother could not see the light for the dark.
as much as he tried.
In the end, I know there is a "god".
I should not be alive today.

In the end, I say to you , his loved one.
you will meet again. Todays consciousness and todays memory will not be apparent,
But there will be love. And the opportunity to love again.
