I love you Erin and sometimes you write incredibly inspiring blogs, but I just don't see how this entry is any different from the heresay that exists with regular religion? Maybe this is how you view hell and heaven, and that is perfectly fine, but why present it as if its a Truth? It's your subjective reality.

I think there's a real danger in people claiming they are having access to something all the rest of us don't, and then present it as if its universal truth. It's how the really dangerous religions were born.

Wow Erin, that dream of yours was amazing. I've talked to God in dreams before (on the telephone, no less) but I've never even considered trying to enter Hell or Heaven.

I guess to me the difference is that with religion you've got people creating something designed to instill fear and to control the masses. With me, I report on experiences I actually have. And I leave it to the reader to make up their own mind.

To anyone who reads my blog and is reading this now... I share my beliefs and my experiences. if they resonate with you, lovely, if not, no need to get too attached to the ideas. take what resonates with you and leave the rest. Both STeve and I want people to think for themselves and live consciously.

Yeah, I'm not questioning your motive btw. And I think your version of heaven and hell is light years ahead of the one presented by the big-3 religions. I'm just saying, I think it's just a humble admission that, "nobody knows for sure". I guess I take these things for granted because I don't obsess about what happens to me after I die. I realize I'm fortunate in that way. There was a twitter message I think actually Steve sent out that I absolutely nodded to, something like, "You are here to live, you will find out about death when you die" or something like that. Sad that people even worry whether they'll go to hell or not. You can blame the religious propaganda for that one.

For us individually, I think it's important to remember that everyone is just expressing their opinion, even if they say they're expressing Truth. So it doesn't matter to me if they preface their words with "IMO" because it is already known.

It's sort of like that story about the 7 blind men all touching different parts of the elephant and not understanding why they were describing it differently. We're all coming at life with our own perspectives and experiences. This is one reason I love love love to share experiences with others and to hear about their lives. It gives me more information I couldn't possibly obtain on my own since I have not been them all these years.

I've been to hell. It was a place where the only way out was suicide or stop digging. But even if I stopped digging, I had a long and labourous road of climbing ahead of me. It was a tough choice. But once I started climbing, I never looked back and every since that day, every decision is easy. Each decision I make is either taking me further from God, or closer to God. After a while the gentle nudge of my conscience (intuition) get's better at making the right choices in life. Choices based out of love for myself and others.
