I've been contacted by my great-aunt and great-uncle who passed away when I was a child. They told me to "Remember the ice cream." I had totally forgotten about it and I was on a Ouija board with one of my brothers and when that message came through, it really confirmed my belief in the spirit world.

My husband passed away over 10 years ago and I have been receiving signs from him from day 1. I think it was as you mentioned, that I was very open to it and I actually expected it. He was very young and a strong and vibrant spirit here on earth and very clever. I knew he would find ways to reach out to me and he did and still does now. Some of my experiences have been incredible... light bulbs actually bursting when talking about him, significant songs being played on the radio exactly when I ask for them (make an appointment :-)) I even came up with a yes/no code language to talk with him using songs on the radio. I have been to see mediums and yes he has come through in big ways, to the authentic ones, but I realize that the biggest medium is my own self. He comes to me. The third party was nice in the way that it gave the extra validation... but I realize that I don't need that from anyone. There is a book that I read not long after he passed away called Talking to Heaven by James van Praagh. What a great book on the subject!!! I think I'd like to read it again now that I mention it. This really enhanced everything that I was feeling and experiencing and gave me new ideas and insight into how I can communicate even more deeply and respect his new life and time in his new place. Since my grandmother passed away I had her appear in my dream twice but both times the dream seemed quite negative. I saw her alone in a small wooden house in woods, and she did not look that well. When she was alive she would hold all her emotions inside herself and she would always get angry if someone would criticize her beliefs. Maybe that's why I saw her in such state. I hope she is all okay now. |

I had a lot of contact from my grandparents. My grandmother even told me how to go about a project. I took her advice and she was right and it was successful. I haven't heard from her for a while. Just after my uncle died, whom I was very close to, we were "hanging out" every night. Dancing together a lot, and he was giving me a tour of the world he was in, which was a kind of in between world. He was explaining while I was sitting in a carriage. My dad was very close to him too, his brother. After about a month my uncle appeared in his dream and told my dad he was in an amazing place and he hardly has time because he's learning all day. he said there are kind of classes where he learns amazing stuff, but he's not allowed to say anymore. I found that pretty amazing. Maybe contacting my dad like that was a trick he just learned in class. I still dream of him 4 years later. But not so often.
