I am wondering if anyone has any insight on this:

I have been trying to understand what I should be doing with my life. A little while ago I was meditating and a name came through loud and clear, "Lenny Wells". I had no idea who "Lenny Wells" is, so of course I Google it after my meditation.

The first thing I see in Google is "Lenny Wells Ministries International". Now, I'm not religious, but I'm certainly not against being a compassionate member of the human race. Also, a few days ago during a meditation I got a message loud and clear that said simply, "Help People". So, in putting these two messages together, well, I can only assume that I'm supposed to join this ministry?????

I'm turned off by this website because it's very centered around evangelism and preaching, which is something I'm totally NOT into.

Do you think my guides actually want me to join this ministry? Should I go back in for some clarification?

Did you hear the spelling of Lenny Wells?

You might try some different spellings, see what comes up. Leny, Lenie, Lennie, Wels, Welsh, Welz, etc.

Can't hurt though to go there and chat with them. It might change some beliefs for you.

I think it would be a good idea to go an tune in again and make sure that you are connecting with information that relates only to your highest path and purpose

/agree with Holistic Star

Every time you get information, ask where it's coming from. Does the voice/spirit you heard work toward your highest good? If not, command it to leave you and never return.... and dismiss what it told you. Even better, confirm that it works for your highest good *before* getting information/answers from it.

Also, I disagree with the idea that our "purpose" should be told to us by something outside ourselves. You choose what your purpose is. You choose what you want to do. You choose how to express it. You're in control of how you want to live your life. You decide what you want to do, and spirit guides assist you in getting it done.

Spirit guides can remind you of what you've forgotten though. The information should resonate with you on some level. You probably resonate with "help people" and maybe you are supposed to help the same kind of people that are attracted to Lenny Wells minstry thingie. Keep digging.

Ultimately you must do something that you totally resonate with. Never do something a guide tells you to if you don't also think it's a good idea or will get you where you want to go.

Thanks everyone!! I feel better now - I'm definitely not going to do something if it doesn't feel right.

I cracked up when Trezker said Maybe it means, "help people leave that organisation". Oh my God that was so funny - thanks for the laugh

I'm pretty new at receiving messages through meditation, so next time I will use the advice of making sure the information is intended for my highest path.
