Is this Astral Projection?
 

I fell asleep during the day today and had a "dream" that really scared me. I was having a dream that was like a repeating record. The same dream kept repeating over and over. I visualized a wheel spinning (as the dreams repeated). I called it a dream wheel. It would get faster and faster until I was aware of myself laying face down.

Then my face became tingly all over, and there was a pulling sensation on the back of my head. The top part of my body lifted out and my face felt like there were little pins all over it (not painful, though, more like vibrations). I was paralyzed and I couldn't move my mouth. As I pulled further out, I started hearing this loud growling noise. It scared the crap out of me, so I started imagining a bubble of white light all around me, and I started yelling (in my mind, I guess) "Jesus loves me, Jesus Loves me." I don't know why I yelled that as I'm not particularly Christian... I was raised that way, though.

As I resisted and yelled, I fell back into my face and I started having the same repeating dream over again. Then, the "dream wheel" would go faster and the same thing would repeat. It must have happened 8 times until my phone rang and I snapped out of it. When I woke up, I was laying exactly how I was in my "dream," my face was still tingling all over, and my heart was beating like crazy. It was very real.

If that was astral projection, was something really growling at me or is that just "background" noise? It was really intense, scary growling...

Yeah, that definitely sounds like astral projection.

The growling sound could have been the famous vibrations disguised. Sometimes, we perceive things in strange ways when they are unfamiliar to us. When you separate from your body, your consciousness changes frequency from the physical world to the astral world. While separation is in progress, you are between frequencies, which is very similar to being between two radio stations, that is -- you get static or vibrations, or in your case a strange growling noise.

I've experienced the tingling prickly feeling too -- kind of feels like your physical body when you've slept on an arm, depriving it of blood.

Yes what Anagogy said, but the growling could have been a lower vibrational entity.

Anagogy- Thanks for explaining. That makes sense. My face did feel as if it "fell asleep" from restricted blood flow.

Erin- Thank you for those links. I read the blogs, and I think that is exactly what happened (astral projection). I will try to be less scared if it happens again. If it was a lower vibrational entity growling at me and not just vibrational noise, will saying that line you wrote (that I am protected by the white light of Jesus Christ) make him go away? It was so hard not to be afraid of that growling because it was not friendly at all. I was thankful the phone rang because I thought I was in a never ending cycle!

Many times a phone call saved me too. Sometimes I would just get these weird no-person-on-the-other-end phone calls during scary projections.

That was a combination of an astral projection and the rising of kundalini. Check around the internet and read up about kundalini. I wrote some books which discuss it.*
Your astral body also assumed a cataleptic state which means that it could not be move it, it seemed to be paralysed. This may also happen to the gross body upon reentry into it after an astral projection. It is never a permanent condition and should not be feared. If it happens upon reenter into the physical body, you should just try to break out of it by controlling your breath or by trying to make a sudden physical movement with a hand or foot of the physical body. Usually it goes away any way. The main thing is not to be scared of it and to know what it is as it occurs, and to be confidence that it will not last. When the astral body comes back into the physical body, if the two bodies are not perfectly synchronized, then there will be a mismatch. That is experienced as a cataleptic state in which one cannot move the body to get up as usual.

The vibrations, noises and sounds were kundalini energy in the subtle and gross bodies. When that energy is aroused, it sometimes makes a loud noise or it might vibrate the subtle body or gross one or both. Sometimes one sees in the body a flash of lightning but none of this causes any harm, so one should not be afraid of it.
Repeated entry to a certain state of dimension may occur at random. It may be that you do not want it to happen and it still happens, but come to think of it, many things in our live on earth are like that. Like people say, “♥♥♥♥ happens!” meaning that things happen which you are not in control of and which you did not cause.
It is natural to cry for Jesus or for this or that deity if you have one or if you grew up to believe in one. Nothing wrong with that. That is done because one naturally takes help from a reliable source when in danger, like calling 911 if somebody is following you with a loaded gun.
But did Jesus show up? Hell no! So next time don’t be scared and try to read up on astral projection and talk to people who do it frequently. We should know about it because it is part of our life right now since everything the physical body sleeps we are doing it even if we don’t remember.
The pulling sensation at the back of the head is kundalini energy coming into the brain and stimulating the subtle energy in the subtle head of the subtle body. Yogis, if you ever heard about them, actually try to cause all this to happen deliberately in their meditations and in the practice called Kriya yoga.*
