I realized in the blog thread of "Psychics are like Doctors, that I went off course with what Erin's blog intention was. I have started a new thread to address this issue I am having with headaches when meditating. Here is the question I posed. I do have a question for "Dr. Erin." Why is it that when I meditate and get messages from my higher self, I get a headache that lasts for a long time. This is so much of a bother to me, that it causes me to refrain from meditating. Does anyone else have this problem? |

My intent in meditating that particular day was more to clear my mind and just relax, so I did not go to my higher self; my higher self seems to have chosen to come to me. I had a headache for most of the day into the evening afterwards. I tried doing the same type of meditation yesterday, cleared my mind, and again, my higher self came to me. I developed a headache and eventually ended the session, but continued to feel headachy all through the night. I am going to assume that I should be going to my higher self versus HS coming to me. |

Yes, go to your higher self. However, if your higher self is coming to you during meditation then obviously there is a message in there for you that HS wants you to hear. Either check in with HS more often or work on closing the connection a little better when you're done. It's like leaving the light on when you leave a room. Turn it off or it will continue radiating energy long into the night.

Okay, I tried it, Erin, and my response is a great big WOW. I actually did not mention that I still had that headache all day today lagging over from last night, which I could not shake. It got to the point that I could not continue working on what I was doing, and decided to meet my HS somewhere other than where I was. I closed my eyes and brought myself to the ocean, where I sat on a blanket. HS joined me, sitting beside me. We spoke for a little while. Upon finishing, I thanked HS (who was in the form of a female), and promised to connect more often. I then left the ocean front and came back to myself. My headache was completely gone. Thank you for your advice. It worked wonders. Last edited by Gratin290; 01-16-2007 at 10:15 PM. | |
