Default Diet & Polyamory?

Hi Erin
I noticed on your blog that your health goals are from this year. I'm not sure if this is the first time you are really trying to lose weight/ get healthier, but I guess that's what it looks like. And I'm wondering if this is at all connected to the polyamorous relationship? I realize that you and Steve are on a different level than I am - however if I was faced with a polyamorous relationship I might make the decision (consciously or sub-) to lose weight. You and Steve mentioned that you weren't sure of the effects of polyamory, and I'm just wondering if this is one of them?

I've been trying to lose weight for years. It has nothing to do with polyamory. Health and fitness is the one area of my life I just haven't mastered. Er, not that I've necessarily mastered the others, but in the other areas of my life I'm getting the results I want. I decided to go public about my health goals to have some accountability and support.

Like you, Erin, this is an area I continue to put effort into. If there is any additional impetus to focus on health due to being polyamorous, it's is a good thing! While it's certainly not enough to get me to the gym, it's maybe worth another 5-10 minutes of cardio while I'm there!

Bottom line for me remains that diet and fitness are things that must be done for self, or those habits just won't stick. That doesn't change no matter how many, or how few, people are seeing me naked.

That's the best way to achieve goals! That's what I did - I posted my goals on my about page, and one of them is to become a YouTube partner this year!

I am glad I shared it here too - now it will be even a stronger push to achieve this goal!
