Hello? Can somebody help me find my HS?

I've read Erin's article on finding your higher selfand I've had mimimal to no success. (I do fall asleep faster) Can someone/anyone give me alternate exercises for summoning that elusive entity? Is there any way to pull him out of the card game he's stuck in? Oddly enough I've met a person that likes to be called Blake that acts more like a guardian angel. But so far I can't seem to make an appointment with myself.

Any helpful tips would be greatly appreeciated.

Have you tried the automatic writing/journaling technique?

Are you a visual person? The exercise in that HS article is good if you can visualize easily when you meditate.

Hi Ace,
Dr. Hew Len, who teaches Ho'oponopono, says that once we take out the garbage, we'll be inspired [by higher self].

Sometimes it's a challenge to know when all the garbage (old memories, old programed responses etc.) is out, but if you start by saying "I love you. Thank you." every time you have a feeling it will be a good start.

Ho'oponopono is about taking 100% responsibility for everything in your life. If a person cuts you off on the highway, you think, "Thank you. I love you." If your partner is half an hour late to meet you, you mentally say, "I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you."

Every trainer, mystic, healer I have ever spoken with or studied with has said that taking responsibility increases your vibrational energy tremendously. -- So, doing Ho'oponopono can only help.

At first, it might only be a routine mantra. You might not "really" be taking 100% responsibility. But, little by little as you see the wondrous changes happening around you, it will help you shift into an actual feeling of responsibility. Then, watch as you begin to recognize your Higher Self, or Super Conscious mind as Dr. Hew Len refers to it.

So my imaginary vision of my HS can be what ever I want it to be right? Like If I want my HS to manifest as Pierce Brosnan, it won't hurt his feelings right? Because our HS is a formless spiritual sub-division of our overall spiritual complex. I guess our HSs can be stupid as well as incarnate humans right? I mean , why would a complete spiritual entity choose to incarnate in darfur? If given a chance; I want to be born in area code 90210, ya think? Seriously, what kind of pre-incarnate contract reads:"alright, you're going to be born in the Sudan, and you may not get to eat real food until your able to walk. But you should be able to catch a caravan of camels to Casablanca then hop on that little plane to Lisbon". (I gotta stop watcing Casablanca)

So seriously Erin, If I had a reading, do you think you could summon all the usual suspects (there I go again) and have a board meeting on wtf the original mission was?

Hi Ace, yes of course. I've never met someone yet whose guides didn't come through.

However, and this is a big however, they don't always tells us what we want to know or want to hear. They will answer any question posed to them but not necessarily in the way you want.

For example, one time a person asked, "Should I take the network admin job in L.A. or stay at my current company?" The answer was, "Neither. You're on the wrong path entirely. Why did you quit the psychology program in college?"

Or sometimes guides want people to trust in their own choices and they won't tell a person what to do or why they're here. it's part of a test. I know, I hate it when they do that, but that usually happens with people who are in danger of giving up their power to others, or in giving up tehir responsibility for their own lives and just want to be told what to do.

I asked my HS what the hell I'm suppose to do now that I'm here. His answer was, You can do what you want to do. (or, it's up to you) My response was, "When I want rhetoric I'll give it to you, now come on, WTF did we come here for"? What did we PLAN to accomplish before I subjected myself to the physical and emotioal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is life on earth. Yes, I'm grateful blah blah blah, but I'm spinning my wheels in some very expensive sand. Do I run for congress? Do cut another album? Do I sail away to the galapagos and study Geo-thermal effects on plate techtonics?

I assume this can even be in play from cradle to grave? If so, then may my HS find a way to forgive the depthless venom that might emerge from such an arrangement (I hope it doesn't)...

Ace, if you want to talk to your higher self I very much recommend the book "Unlock your intuition" by Andrea Hess. You can find it on amazon or on her website (Empowered Soul: Develop your intuition and clear negative energy through Soul Realignment). She teaches exactly that: communication with your HS. At first through dowsing and yes/no questions, then with open ended questions and without dowsing. You'll need to practice daily though, so serious motivation is required.

What method of Dowsing are you referring to? Usually when dowsing you have some instrument such as a hanging pendulum that gives you validation of any divination. (If I'm not mistaken)

The method in the book is dowsing with a pendulum or using a muscle test. At first. After some time, it's without such help.

Sometimes my higher self is a little taller me. I am already pretty tall (5' 10'')

Other times it's a girl I know in class that is more responsible than me. I struggle with keeping and remembering stuff .
