Hmmm this question is out of no where... but I was sleeping and I heard this somewhat loud pop noise and I woke up. It felt like it was a noise inside my head or something... So I guess... is this anything anyone had experience or know? This has never happened before, maybe it was just nothing but it felt really different. Just wondering... Thanks. |

Could be you're picking up on a frequency and are tuned in. Could be a spirit shouting your name. Could be a guide. Could be an auditory hallucination. Could be a synapse firing, recalling a time you heard your name. Could be leftover dream. The way to figure out what it means is to listen after you hear it. What do you hear or feel or see next? |

This is the time of year when allergies and colds are starting to reach their zenith. The Popping sound could be your Eustachian tubes clearing and releasing pressure in your middle ear. It can be quite loud and even cause vertigo. Hey not all anwers are paranormal........lol |

I once heard this sound too. It seemed like it was near my left ear. I straight away new that it has something to do with spirits. I instinctively thought that there is some spirit near me trying to get my attention. Great that this thread confirmed that!

Some people hear popping and cracking, some people hear and feel strong vibrations, some people hear hissing, and some people feel very little at all. But that's my best guess. Or as Ace said, it could be your ears. | |
