Way to go with the whale! That reminds me of my own encounter 6 months ago. My husband and I took an anniversary trip to the NC mountains. We went to Grandfather Mountain specifically to check out the mile high bridge. As we were driving up the hair pin turns I started to get petrified. Every turn up that mountain and I doubted more and more whether I wanted to or even could cross the popular bridge. By the time we got to the top, I'd convinced myself that there was no need to go across. I watched in peril as he strolled across slowly. I just wished he would hurry up and get over it. When he came back he tried to convince me using all manner of reason. Finally, I agreed to go across if he would walk in front of me. I crossed with one hand gripping the rail and the other squeezing his. Once I got to the other side all I could think was that I would have to go back over. I had to wait until it was cleared to my satisfaction. But I got back over. Once I was on safe ground I watched a 4 year old jump across the bridge screaming, "It's not shaking!" I couldn't believe it. That child had no fear. In fact he was daring the bridge to shake. He inspired me to go over again, this time no hands, and no hubby. That moment changed my life. All fears are measured against the bridge now and somehow they just melt away. |

Great story, Erin. In it you mention that you "stopped your dream" and spoke to the whale. How do you stop a dream? I can barely remember any that I have unless they're awful, let alone stop one. Thanks for sharing that story -- it was a good lesson in facing our fears. Shanti, Ron |

WOW that was great! Put a huge smile on my face after reading that. I can't believe she pulled you right up on the stage like that! But hey, it's better to smell like whale poop for a while than to actually be it forever right? Shadow |

How do you know when your intuition is correct? For example, in Always Listen to Your Intuition you said Quote:

How was my intuition causing me to be paralyzed with fear? I'm not sure what you mean. I will comment though that back then I wasn't listening to my intuition. All my psychic abilities were turned off, no batteries in the "radio" so to speak. This was more than 10 years ago that this happened. |
