All of a sudden you're a comedienne! This was a very, very funny column and I enjoyed it very much. In fact, I'd say it's one of my favorite blog entries ever. (Has something broken through in you lately in the area of lightness or ease or humor?) |

Yeah I never really thought I was funny, but recently in Toastmasters I've discovered that I do have a certain style of humor that some people find funny. When I did the groundhog day program totally off the cuff with no prep I was surprised by how many people thought I'd planned out all my jokes. I even had a person come up to me at the next meeting and tell me she was joining the club because of how funny I was. Surprised me. I found that when I just be myself and don't hold back I'm naturally amusing to people. |

Being yourself is natural and will attract people to your authentic energy. And if you're funny, it works even better. Most people long to laugh and people that are able to make others laugh are valuable. You're even more valuable if you can make them think, too.

I don't know, Erin. I've heard tales of these "peanut butter and jelly sandwiches" but I just thought that was crazy unicorn talk. But you say they're real. Hmm. Tina The Gallivanting Monkey |

From what I've read, Cancer is particularly known for a strong maternal instinct. Seasons can cause purely scientific correlations, but I do seem to encapsulate Aquarius characteristics very strongly, which is my birth month. I don't know how much more valid specific rising moons etc. are. |

| Question: Can you tell during a reading if my spouse is cheating on me? Answer: I’ve noticed the guides have a tendency to not want to reveal concealed information. It’s there for a reason. You may need to take action to discover it on your own. But often they will tell my sitters if they have good reason to suspect something like that is going on. What sort of reason might there be for the concealed info to not be known? Is it that the guides can't know what you don't? I would think for cheating, the body knows (and whatever that's connected to--the higher self maybe?) but the mind is confused. So is it that you have to discern that yourself? I'm confused. |

Of course they give ideas and suggestions for your life. That's exactly what they do. If you're into black magic or you work for Satan, you should have no problem getting secrets out of people without their permission. Then you can blackmail them and be rich. |

I agree--that was a particularly great post! I'm especially pleased by your response to the first question about Indigo children. I've always been uncomfortable with discussions about the term and/or phenomenon and couldn't quite figure out why. You've explained it to me. Thanks! |

| About the astrology part: I just want to know what is birth time ? If someone claims a 'particular moment' as birth time, Why & HOW is 'that particular moment' claimed as Birth time? A person's Charecteristics, mood swings, timelines, career, etc etc are said to be deciphered from NATAL Chart which inturn rests upon BIRTH TIME Birth time is basis on which the whole Astrology rests upon! the natal chart is formulated on Birth time. quote from sujai blog(one of the blogs I read): " What is birth according to these stars and planets, the moment of conception or the moment of seeing the outside world, or is it when the tether at the baby’s navel is cut off from the mother? Is the boundary of such termination just the skin of human or is it something more (like heart, brain or soul)? So, are we to assume that these planets are aware of each individual who is born on earth? If so, are they aware of each living species on the planet? There would be many billions of living beings on the planet, would they consider the fate of each of those living organism? Or these planets are especially interested in humans only? What about our cousins the chimps, gorillas and orangutans? If there is no entity called GOD(my realization). [By GOD I mean some being sitting on top n governing everybody's life] there cant be a thing called FATE ( by fate I mean the idea that for humans everything is predestined). so, If nothing is predestined how can there be a predictive theory ( astrology) because astrology conforms to idea of FATE( that events occuring in human life are fixed and predetermined)and so... At present my conclustion is : there cannot be a PREDICTIVE SCIENCE Called ASTROLOGY!! Last edited by tin; 02-12-2009 at 09:23 AM. |

On the contrary, my friend, certain events are predestined. I have dreamt of things that occured a week, month, or year later. People dying, someone buying a new car (I dreamt of the EXACT car they bought). Actually, I have precognitive dreams so frequently that when someone asks me "are certain events predestined?" im just like DUH. lol But not everything is like that. I think free will AND destiny exist. Let's say you end up at point B in your life at such and such a time. No matter what, you're going to end up there. But you can get there in a red car, an airplane, or on foot. You have choices but the universe isn't just one big mess - a sort of divine order does exist. That doesn't necessarily say that astrology is true, false, or some area inbetween the two. I'm just sayin'...free will and fate are both real and exist simulatenously. ROFL. I have to admit that my most well-received blog entries seem to be the ones where the guides are doing most of the writing. I don't know whether to be relieved or offended. But I definitely have funny guides. My conduit guide, Bob, cracks me up. His humor is off the wall.

Thanks a lot for this article (and everything else you've written) - very interesting and fun to read. Quote:
Sorry to be so lazy. Someday I'll buy a reading to better express my gratitude. Here's some possibly interesting trivia for you. You were born just a few months before the psychic medium John Edward, who, according to Wikipedia, was born Oct. 19, 1969. It was kind of neat for me to find out that my two top favorite mediums were born within about 3 months of each other. Thanks again. Cancer is the sign of the moon. It's also affiliated with a preference for carb-loaded food, and you will be tended to nurture yourself with food. Libra rising means you have a lot of natural charm and are very gracious and balanced. It also lends a strong sense of smell. Very simplified............ Astrology is similar to your own profession whereby the value of it depends on the 'practitioner' (the astrologer, or in your case the medium). If you're curious as to how accurate and insightful a chart reading can be it'd be a good idea to go to an astrologer who is well-respected and known for being successfull. I'd recommend Eric Francis from PlanetWaves.net |

Also, Eric's take on astrology is that it is not a static study. He does not stick to traditional astrology as most mainstream astrologers do. He factors in new planets/asteroids as they are discovered instead of waiting 30 years to take them seriously (as was the method of dealing with Uranus, Neptune and Pluto). |
