Default wrong "S" town!

It's great that you guys are going to San Francisco, but I wish Steve had convinced you to come up to Seattle! Next time make it Seattle, mama. I'd get an in-person reading in a hot minute if we were in the same town.

Have a great trip!

We'll come to Seattle when the weather is better. Uh, like August right?

Yeah. You could come on the, say, 4th of August. And then maybe you have another shot from the, maybe, 17th-23rd. The 31st is often nice.

It'll probably be snowing, at this rate.

We actually have several friends to meet in SF, so that -- along with a chance to eat at Cafe Gratitude -- pushed me over the edge.

but it's the gray skies and misty rains of winter which gives the northwest it's character! well, keeps it green anyway.

Maybe this is an obvious suggestion, but they just re-opened the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park and it is incredible.

Default If not Seattle, how about Ohio?

Erin could do a workshop at the Ellora's Cave Romanticon gathering in October 2009.

RomantiCon2009

Hey, it's just a thought.

Default Ohio

Ummm, maybe that was a bit cryptic. The Romanticon has what they call a "Psychic track" in which they are offering workshops on psychic topics--it's connected with The Lotus Circle, which are books published by Ellora's Cave.

The TLC Track workshop offerings are what made me think of Erin.

Default A few things to do in the Bay Area

Cafe Gratitude is fabulous - I try to go there each time I'm in town. Here are a few other things I enjoy:

Berkeley
- The quirky shops in Fourth Street. My favourite: Castle in the Air (Castle in the Air - A Studio for the Imagination - Official Site)
- Tara's Organic ice cream & sorbet in Berkeley: Tara's Organic Ice Cream Flavors, Organic Ice Cream Cakes & Brownie Sandwiches

Marin
- Check out Mill Valley to be amongst the redwoods, and have a coffee and a bite at The Depot in the centre of the village. It's very peaceful.. probably because it's so close to Mt Tamalpais, one of the sacred mountains in the U.S.
- Open Secret metaphysical bookshop in San Rafael
- Check out the Houseboats in Sausalito. Many are now up for sale, so you can wander in to have a look at them (as prospective buyers of course)
- Go for an easy walk down Tennessee valley to the beach. Only a couple of miles (Tennessee Valley, Marin, California)
- Drive the Marin Headlands, drive up Muir Wood ->Stinson Beach -> Bolinas (a hippy beach village)
