One day I would like to have a reading with you, Erin. I have been very skeptical in the past and have gone through a long period of being less so and then more so again but I think for someone with my background I can understand that. I was deeply religous as a child and continued being so as I was growing up even although my life experience and my rational mind argued against blind belief. It was hard to let go of all the cerainties. Now I know that there are no cerainties. The other night my mother was in my dream. I am the only member of my family not to have met her in a dream since she died about six years ago. In the dream she seemed to turn her face away from me and I woke up in tears not understanding it. This morning I came into the forum and found through a lead that someone had left an article on turning the other cheek. It dawned on me at once that my mum hadnt been turning away from me at all but was telling me to turn the other cheek. It fitted so perfectly because I had felt ignored and was angry about something but her action in the dream put it all to rest. Its the best lesson I have had in a long time!! |

Guides are not usually freaky. Think of them as people who have your best interest at heart. Imagine they are gathered around a large conference table, discussing you, and how to best help you. Now imagine if you could be in on that conversation once in a while. Think of the insights you could gain. They're there to help, not freak you out. Soem guides are logical, orderly, analytical. Others are like free spirited hippies. Some are loving, kind, and gentle, and others are funny and amusing. There are all kinds up there. Find your guides, tune in, and see what you've got working behind the scenes on your behalf. |

Thanks very much. Read your article on how to open up to your guides and somehow it got through today. I have read books on opening up to chanelling and have read your article before but there was obviously a blockage. Today I seem clear. Maybe finally my resistance is down. When I make some dosh I will call you for a reading!! lol. Will get onto my guides to see if they can give me some financial pointers!!This is NICE. Not at all what I expected.

Erin, I thought of you on Sunday as The History Channel was showing one of their new programs "The Brain". They went through all of the 5 senses then ended up with John Edward. It was really cool though. They had him hooked to EEGs and EKGs as was his sitter. They wanted to know if He responded to his sitter's bio-feedback. Long story short; NO. It seemed John's heart rate went up when he was channeling a spirit, and that had no connection to the sitter. The sitter's heart rate remained normal while John was recieving. They said that John's success rate was about 85%. And in many cases, John knew things about the sitter that the sitter didn't know. (they would later confirm from a 3rd party that what John was saying was true). Yes, Mediums got a pretty good thumbs up on this show. They compared John Edward to Tiger Woods, in the ESP world. They also said that we all have the ability to channel, just as we all have the ability to play golf on some level. We're just not all as gifted as John Edward or Tiger Woods. Check your local listing on the History Channel for "The Brain". |
