Kundalini dangerous?

I'm not even sure if I'm dealing with the Kundalini here.
Just recently I realized a dream of mine I had much younger represented my base (tribal) chakra.
This dream describes why my chi was blocked through a major passageway and so I went back to the psychological space that was that dream, chose to join my chakra while experiencing sensations of energy movement through my toe, my energy block hurt and felt this 'sludge' slip down from my 3rd eye location down my nose and disappear.
I later revisited the space where I proceeded to work on what was next. All of a sudden a bright white light bursts through the ground in the middle of the chakra. I stopped it right there because I did not have time to get into it but I had come across readings of the kundalini and I'm wondering if that is it. If so, how dangerous is it honestly to awaken? I didn't think any of this would be 'dangerous' but I've been finding multiple sites and claims online and I just don't know what to think of all this. If its not even the kundalini I don't have to worry about it but I'm not sure.

Meanwhile when I started writing this thread, I was flooded with the sudden image of myself with no eyeballs in my sockets and my fingertips sliced open, my tendants or tissue exposed. I feel energy travelling from my elbows down to my fingertips and I'm not quite sure whats going on. my hands are now tingling....

should i be cautious?

As I was reading your post, I got the image in my mind of a garden hose with seven knots tied in it. If the water is turned on, and the knots are too tight, the knots or blocks will become even tighter, making them even harder to untie. On the other hand, if the knots are somewhat loose, the pressure of the water moving through the hose will straighten out the kinks in the hose, and the water will continue to flow, unrestricted at last.
