Just joined the forums but wanted to say how good the article was, I've found them and Stevens helpful for many years.

Out of interest do you do written readings rather then telephone? I do mean to try a reading sometime in the future.

I think I definitely am in the first category. Although I feel passionate about sharing what I learn, it appears that my personal growth is my primary motivation at the core.

Which makes me feel slightly conflicted, as I come from a culture where selfishness is strongly looked down upon.... but I already know what the proper response to that is. I just am working on reaching deep enough to rescript that particular conditioning. It's taken me a while.

Thanks for the article -- it's always enlightening to hear from a medium.

That was an extremely helpful post. Thank you! I am going to try journaling and meditating, as well as trying to be more intuitive by listening to my gut.

My guide made fun of me when I directly asked him. I knew the answers intuitively while I read the article.
But I asked anyway, and he was like, "You know... I was answering your question before you even asked it."

His tone was so humorous and teasing. I could feel it. It made me smile.

I don't hear or see anything. I just know, and sometimes feel things (like humor and irony in this situation).

Anyway, jolly good article. It clears things up for me. I was confused because I don't have this great desire to go change things, because I believe in subtle changes through love and living in a higher vibrational state..

But many of the people I've been meeting are all for changing the world and giving certain people more access to material things. But I keep thinking how to help people anywhere and everywhere understand that they can be happy with however little they have and that they can take control of their lives.

I knew both types of approaches are needed in the world, and this article was the confirmation I needed to help keep me from thinking I'm wrong not to concentrate on the first approach.
