Q. What’s this I hear about sex with demons? Is this even possible and if so, is it a good idea or a bad idea?

Demon sex is probably _not_ such a good idea. Wow. Did anyone ask about sex with angels?? If that's an option it sounds like a better choice..

What if the demon's really sexy? A lot of people _are_ drawn to the whole badboy and badgirl thing in daily life. I'll grudgingly include myself in that group. There's something sexy about rebels.

Is lust always bad?? Is it always low vibration? Do you lust for your significant other?

This whole "transferrance of energy" theme is _very_ interesting to me. I had a relationship where my long term partner was kind of an energy vampire, he was always really lustful and emotional towards me. I had to end it because I felt like he was sucking the life out of me, always using up my energy instead of creating his own. He never worked on his own skills, or tried to improve himself.

The irony is that many of us could be considered energy vampires to others who have stronger skillsets developed than we do alone. I'd go so far as to say that I'm somewhat of an energy vampire to you and Steve. Because you two have analytical and psychic skills that I don't, I look to you for answers.

I think the key might be to look for answers in people's work - instead of bothering them directly. This enables the "one to many" approach to work.

It's amazing how independant and self contained one has to be to avoid being a leech on those who are at a higher level. Doesn't that perspective make everyone sort of like that demon outside the room, just begging for a little bit of energy from a higher level spirit? Is it only a matter of degrees between a demon leeching energy from a higher level being and us doing so? I remember Steve saying that Jesus is his battery. Isn't that just another matter of degrees?

Would Jesus see Steve as a low vibration entity trying to take away energy?

Erin, I hate to say it, but sometimes your posts terrify me. I just got back from Apocalypto which was such a great movie in terms of thinking from someone else's shoes.

Anyways, it made me think I wanted to be mroe like a bear, that a bear was something of a 'power animal' to me. This thought alone makes me want to exercise for physical strength and enjoy myself when I relax etc soforth as a bear would.

Back on topic, I think just the idea of a whole new world puts me in the ridiculous shocked state of fear. It would be unsafe for me to attempt astral projection with this mindset, would you agree?

Do you think lucid dreaming would help to lessen my fear? Could I see myself more as a bear in my lucid dreams? Do you think tying myself to a power animal is more positive or negative?

All of your articles intrigue me so much. It's like getting hit in the back by the proverbial cement truck. Just wow.

What is the root of that state of fear? Fear of what? Death? Physical pain? Suffering caused by low energy beings? Those same risks are in your every day life just like they are there.

Dan: The kind of energy leeching I'm talking about is not consentual. When two people exchange energy by mutual consent, that's fine and dandy. What demons and lower level entities do is just jump you and start sucking your life in more of a rape-type analogy.

Regarding lust... lust in itself is not bad, no. Demon sex though... brrrr.

Hello everybody, I've got a question about astral projection, and I figured I'd ask the experts.

In her blog, Erin says it is not possible for you to get lost from your physical body, but that it might be possible to delay you from getting back to your physical body.

My question is, would it conceivably be possible to trap your spirit somewhere away from your body? For somebody to contain you, and essentially delay you from returning to your body more or less indefinitely?

A ring of ash, perhaps?

I'd say it is POSSIBLE but not likely. It seems like something that would be very hard to do, and take an entity of considerable "power" to do.

Basically, it would mean CONVINCING YOU that you are indeed trapped, because the instant you realize it's all in your mind, you're free to return. Are you a gullible kind of person?

I liken this to hypnosis. When you are hypnotized, and the hypnotist tells you your arm weighs a ton, and you can't possibly lift it, then you're unable to move it. If a being in astral space can pull of such a kind of "hypnotic stunt" against you, then yes, you will be trapped, because you BELIEVE to be trapped. Once you realize the deception, you can break free of it and easily and effortlessly return to your body.

I have been reading through these very interesting posts. I have had similar experiences that by hindsight have become very clear.

I grew up very close to the woods and there was a spirit that used to visit me. It was male and had stag antlers and stood in the doorway with the light behind him. He never did anything except pull me out of my body towards him. I remember it all being in slow motion, how I would get out of bed and float across the room. It usually started with this buzzing in my head that "woke" me up to the dream state where the spirit was.

As I got older, this stuff would happen but also with real men who were in my life. I always thought it was someone fantasizing about me and that they were interested -- that it was a prelude to something. Sometimes it was -- and if that was the case they would tell me what they had been doing so that I learned to trust my instincts on this. When it came to nothing it was like being raped. Deceived and raped.

Since this often happened in my sleep, I was not always able to block it out. The worst part would be if some guy was using me on that level and he was sleeping with someone else, I would become so sick to my stomach I couldn't stand it. If I was seeing the guy, it was really bad because I think my energy was getting mixed up with someone else's -- I don't know. I didn't even have to be seeping with him for this to happen, just have the chemistry.Because of this I have never been able to understand how people can have non-monogamous relationships. Do they all go around being sick all the time?

In 1989 after years of spiritual practices, I had full blown kundlini awakening and "enlightenment' I had Indian people coming along to stare into my eyes. I started my healing practice and worked all the time. I still do, but not so much now.

In 19997, I went to U.K. on my King Arthur Tour and met a young Indian guy that I bicycled with around Inishmoore. It was nice and friendly and fun. We talked and he told me he knew I was enlightened.

I got home and found that every time I sat down to meditate prior to seeing clients, that this guy would be in my space in a totally sexual way. It was very confusing for me at the time because he was 15 years younger than me and yet... The problem with astral sex is that it is better than the real thing and goes very deep. I won't be graphic, but it is amazing. It got so that I couldn't meditate any more. He just took over my energy field so that it was like sharing my aura with him. It was really bad for me, very isolating. I struggled a lot. I didn't want it but couldn't stop it. It was confusing like sexual abuse always is. Non consensual.

He knew what he was doing and even called me and admitted it. I became so bonded with him because of this that I went to England to see him and find out what he really wanted. I thought it was love because, what else would it be? Then he told me he "thought" he was gay. I said "How can that be? I'm not a man." He had no answer for that but just worked at ruining our friendship. It was the most emotionally devastating experience I ever had with a man because it struck on so many levels.

Well hindsight told me that he was just one mega energy Vampire. He knew I had all of this spiritual energy and he found a way to siphon it off. It was very damaging to me I'm afraid. It didn't do him any good either in the end. It was complete waste of time.

I have seen advertisements for men about how to get into women like this. It is VERY evil. I would rather deal with an entity, a demon, even the Devil himself than one of these human Vampires. As a seduction method it is pure nasty magic.

I don't know if this is useful to anyone, It might be TMI.Lol! But I hope it helps with perspective.

About that question of die while in astral, I think that some cases of people who go insane can be consequence that troubles in astral world.
The body keeps alive but is something like the mind lost the sense.
But this is just my own theory because I never read anything specifically about that, what do you think about that?

Hello everyone!
Erin, thank you for all the great info you post about. I rarely if ever get sleep paralysis that I can't break of my own will, but I find that often, almost every day, just as I fall asleep that I get a falling sensation, and wake up, only being asleep for a few seconds(or so), my leg use to jerk as I woke, now my whole body jumps a little. I've been trying to do AP, and I've had limited luck with lucid dreams (I planed one trip to have x-men powers like you Erin, it worked and I had powers like the guys in "the covenant" movie, the morning before I watched it....).

When I awake like that, is it me snapping back into my body, I just don't recall it? (I use to not be able to recall any dreams for like years, now I can remember at least 5 a week sometimes as much as 4 a night.)

Sorry about the long post, any thoughts or ideas? Any suggestions on progressing with AP?

That feeling you have as you fall asleep is when you're in an alpha state. Alpha dreams begin to come. These are not exactly real dreams, they are precursors; your mind just having a bit of fantasy. You are not paralyzed yet, as you are when you are sleeping, and so sometimes you trip or fall and jerk awake. It's also a sign that you are remaining conscious until the moment you fall asleep.

More than a year ago I had a strange experience but have always thought it nothing but a dream.

I kind of dared an entity to prove that he exists and that he could satisfy me. Not very nice I know but I was having issues.
Anyway, that night something came into my dream. I don't remember my dreams anymore but him I could remember. He was small, almost troll like and he was angry. I won't discuss the rest of the dream except that it was unpleasant, he appeared a few times and repeated the process and I woke up about 4 times ice cold in extremely hot weather.

Yep was taught my lesson except it left me wanting him. The next time I called him something changed. We seemed to connect on a level, he gave me pleasure and we had a type of understanding. Maybe he felt sorry for me I don't know.

A lot has happened in the last year but I haven't seen him again and honestly I miss him. He wasn't that sexy image people expect but he knew how to satisfy this extremely frustrated female.

Reading about Incubi made me wonder if that is what he is. I also wonder now if he really was a figment of my imagination. Reading this makes me sound nuts .

Lowskiller, I'm no expert on Astral Projection, but I'd say as long as you raise your vibrations as soon as you get out of your body, any low vibrational entities will not be able to harm you. Also the fact that your leg has been jerking is a good sign- it means that your astral body is trying to get out, and when it fails and connects back with your physical it causes your leg to jerk (I think...=P)

My name is Rachelle and this is my first post. I am very interested in both Erin and Steve's blogs.

The topic of astral projection and leaving one's body has always fascinated me. Probably because I long to explore the universe and see the stars.

My father has had paranormal experiences including leaving his body, so I've always been wondering about what is out there and wished that I might have similar experiences. He told me about his first (at least I think it was his first) experience as a child, and I am compelled to share it here. He was in a car on a road trip with his family. And he recalls that suddenly he was no longer in the car, but outside it, above it, and I believe he said he could 'see' 360 degrees around at once, unlike what human vision is like. He said he became aware of a dark-cloud like entity that was near by, and it saw and noticed him and at first it was afraid (or shocked?), but then it soon saw him as no threat and it ignored him. the cloud lowered to the car to the engine, and when that happened the car promptly had car problems and stalled - or maybe it was a tire that blew. My dad said this cloud-figure, or something like it, has made several appearances in his life, and was there when he was in an accident over a decade ago where he injured his knee.

I've never personally experienced anything like my father has. I think I may have left my body once or so, and perhaps been in that state but stayed in my body a few other times in the past. But nothing has been very exciting - The first time was when I was about.. oh, I guess I was 14? I think I just kind of 'floated' up to the ceiling in my room. I was never sure if that's actually what happened and always wondered if I simply imagined or dreamed it. But when I read Erin's blog and the references about the high pitched sound and buzzing, I'm almost certain that it did happen in my case as well - so maybe I actually have had a semi-sort of out of body experience, after all.

I'd certainly like to experience something more exciting. But knowing there are bad spirits out there worries me and I'm not sure if it's worth the risk.

Anyway, I guess that's enough for my first post?
I have questions I would like to ask, so I guess I should start a new thread for that (I think?). Yeah, I'm quite the newb - literally. heheh.

Why did you and your then boyfriend conclude that you were under attack by some evil force Vs. being tutored by a helpful one?

The "she has to learn someday" sounds more helpful than evil.
Otherwise wouldn't it be more like "we'll get her one way or antoher!"

Looking back do you still think it was something dark?

Hello Rachelle, I was reading this forum and saw your post, so I figured my first post would be a response to your post. About how you said when you were 14 you just floated up and into the corner of the room, well when I was in around High school or maybe early college I had the Exact same experience except I wasnt concious when I was leaving my body, I dont rememebr floating up, I just remember Being in that spot, I wasnt worried or scared or anything, but I didnt really know what was going on, It felt like no dream I had ever had and all I was doing was looking down on my room and when i started to question why i was up in the corner of my room it ended and I assume i returned to my body and back to full sleep. Had I known at the time the possibilities that were eminant things woulda been different. But I think its crazy that you had the same experience, im sure many if not almost all have but still.

Aside from my reply to Rachelle's post this is also my first post. And reading some of these stories and experiences and the article really enforced what I believe to have been a demon encounter, and not a pleasant one at all.
It might be important to first say that at the time I was living with a girl I liked but didn't like me like that which lead to a lot of negativity in my life at the time and a lot of anger and fighting with her on an almost nightly basis... anyway after a big fight we had I was mad and decided to go to bed so I turned off the lights and the tv only less than a minute after arguing and I laid down on my bed face down. This is the interesting part to me, the second I layed down I felt a tingling specifically in the back of my head that sent goosebumps down my body and chilled me a bit, and within that split second the room grew significantly darker and I swear I could see what looked like that greyish white ether air only it was dark and black and very evil, I didnt see anyone or anything in my room but still within that same couple of seconds my body became paralyzed and I saw and felt a heavy tar like black aura around me and I heard what sounded like thousands of agonizing screams if not millions none which i could make any sense of. I felt as if though many demons (too many to count) were under my physical body trying to all pull me down, there was no floating up here and these were definitely not helpful beings. Every time I would try to scream at the top of my lungs the words ,as if the ywere entities to themselves were being funneled and sucked down and I felt like I was a mouse trying to release my self from those sticky traps they get stuck on, thats the best analogy i could think of. That whole experience lasted less than 8 sec, to my knowledge. I dont understand how i surpassed all the steps so quickly, was it possible that my body was at such low frequencies that the demons saw an opportunity and took it? this demon or demons did not make themselves visible, it was more like the entire population of hell was trying to suck me down, at this time i nmy life which was about 3 or 4 years ago I wasnt really familiar with AP so it never crossed my mind, I played it off as a night terror and people told me it was just an ultra realistic dream. I dont think so I never once closed my eyes the ywere open for the whole experience which really scared the life out of me for about 15 minutes after and even then i still felt unsafe to go to sleep. Ever since then I started preying to god to protect me from stuff like that and ever since the worst ive had was a couple mildly bad dreams, but now I think im ready to actually pursue the astral plane and take on these entities if i have too. sorry for the long post, i didnt want to leave anything out, I just wanted accurate responses.
